Bangkok to Pattaya by Bus Walkthrough - 130 baht - April 2015

05:59
Bangkok Airport to Pattaya by Bus Walkthrough - 130 baht - 2015 A step-by-step walkthrough of how to go from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya using the cheap no. 389 bus. Travel time is approximately 2 hours. Buses leave hourly from 07,00 to 22,00. This works out much cheaper than a private taxi and is almost as fast and probably more comfortable. 04 April 2015 Price: 130 baht Note: On this day of travel there was some bad highway traffic which affected the journey time. The price is variable due to competition with other forms of transport. The last 2 daily departures stop only near Pattaya North Bus Station. In the video the price of the motorbike taxi ride to Walking Street was 50 baht for the 2km journey from the last stop. Baht Buses are 10 to 20 baht for ones running in your direction. Otherwise, the waiting baht buses can be negotiated at a price, buddy up with fellow travellers to cut the cost if possible. Overall verdict: The bus taken was very comfortable with good air conditioning. The sign at the counter was 17,00 for the next bus but I was put on the 16,00 probably because I had no bags. The bus does drop Thai people off early which can eat into the journey time, but hey what do you expect from a cheap bus. As for the Pattaya drop off points be sure which one you need and get ready early, the staff will help you get your bag out of the main compartment. 4:22 pause here to check the Pattaya drop off points clearly on the map. View in HD for Better Quality. Subscribe for more videos. More info from their website (unedited by bangkok 112): Departure location: At “Pattaya” counter on Level 1 at Gate no. 8 Drop-off location: There are a few drop-off points on Sukhumvit road in Pattaya city for your convenience: North Pattaya Intersection, Central Pattaya Intersection, South Pattaya Intersection and a corner of Thepprasit road next to Outlet Mall. Then the bus will go straight to our office on Thappraya road. Travelling Time: Bus take around "two hours" between Airport and Pattaya. Fare: Bus fare is 130 THB/Seat. Baggage: 1. Each customer is allowed to have 1 small personal bag that fits in the overhead compartment (very small space) and 1 normal sized checked baggage with the maximum standard size of 48W-29D-76H in centimeter or 19”W-11”D-30”H with maximum linear dimension of 153 cm. and maximum weight of 20 kg. If the size or the weight is more than the standard limit, you will be subject to oversize or overweight charge. Our system does not accept a booking if customer has more than 3 checked baggage. In that case please input only 3 bags and our staff will check-in additional bags before boarding with additional charges. All baggage must be clearly labeled with the owner's name and destination address.

Don't Doubt, Just go to Pattaya...

04:55
Welcome Sir, take a look inside!!!!!! Something different for todays video, a compilation of clips from recent trips to Pattaya. Some are from upcoming videos so think of this as a kind of trailer for what's to come... I get the question very often of where you should holiday in Thailand? Bangkok, Phuket or Pattaya? My answer is always the same, 'just go to Pattaya' and forget the rest. By sheer volume of girls and bars Pattaya wins by a mile, plus it's cheaper too. Bangkok has the city vibe going on, Phuket has the best beaches and nightclubs so they do have their own merits, but for bars and girls Pattaya is the best for me... Bars featured in this video, all are reputable places and definitely worth a visit: 0:10 Bachelor Club, LK Metro 0:14 Taboo, Walking Street 0:18 Glass House, Walking Street 0:34 AlcatraZ, Walking Street (now closed) 0:39 Palace, Walking Street 0:43 Iron Club, Walking Street 1:14 Gossip Girl, Soi 7 1:18 PJ DJ Bar, Soi 7 1:22 Shooters Coyote Bar, Soi 7 1:29 Beach Road freelancer 1:39 Sapphire Club, Soi 15 Walking Street 1:44 Insomnia Club, Walking Street 1:53 Mixx Disco, Walking Street 2:13 Country Famous Ladyb0y bar, Walking Street 2:30 Skyfall, Walking Street 2:41 Lucifer Disco, Walking Street 3:19 Mistys, Soi 15 Walking Street 3:28 Windmill, Soi Diamond Walking Street 3:36 Marine Disco, Walking Street 3:53 Bliss, Walking Street 3:57 Fahrenheit, Walking Street 4:36 Outro from the Crazy Horse Circus bar in Patong, Phuket If you are thinking of booking a Pattaya hotel in the $20-40 range, make sure to read this website post for more info including essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ If you are thinking of booking a Pattaya Hotel in the $50+ range then read this website post for essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattayas-best-hotels-50/ bangkok112.com free interactive guides: Bangkok Guide: http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-guide-201617/ Pattaya Guide: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-interactive-map-201617/ Patong Guide: http://bangkok112.com/patong-guide-201617/ Music: Good Knives - Doubt (DANCE WITH THE DEAD Remix) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXWd0ANd7I4 original version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrCqEu760Lc

FREE MONEY FOR TOURISTS!!!

03:07
The VAT Refund available for all Tourists in Thailand - Walkthrough - 2015 A step-by-step guide of how to claim your VAT Refund back from purchases made in Thailand on your holiday. Please feel free to pause the video at 0:29 for the excellent sign summarising what you need to do. Also included at the end are the receipts and photos of the form you have to complete. For this refund I purchased a Gopro Hero 4 Silver camera at MBK and got my refund at Don Muang International Airport, Bangkok. There are additional fees to pay so instead of 7% it was more like 5.5% refunded in Thai Baht. Allow 15 minutes extra at departures to stamp your PP10 form and collecting your money after passing immigration. The 8 Airports you can collect from are: Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Don Muang, Bangkok Chiang Mai Phuket Hat Yai U-Tapao Krabi Koh Samui Some of the names and serial numbers are blurred out in this video for obvious reasons. Notice the couple who didn't stamp their form BEFORE checking in for their flight, and didn't receive any money for their refund. Do not do this. At Suvarabhumi Airport the Tourist Refund Information and Customs Inspection are located between entrance doors 4 and 5 at departures, floor 4. Most tourists will purchase something of value on holiday so it really is free money for filling in a couple of forms. View in HD for better quality. Subscribe for more videos.

Pattaya CHEAP CHARLIE Night Out $$$

03:43
Pattaya Cheap Charlie Night Out $$$ Something different for todays vid. I decided to be a Cheap Charlie on a regular night out in Pattaya from November 2016. Bars featured in this vid: My Friend You Bar, Soi 6 Jack Tar Bar, Soi 6 Cheap beer bar, Soi 7 Queen Club, LK Metro The Office, LK Metro Insomnia, Walking Street Random 7-Eleven, Walking Street BabyDolls, Soi 15 Alley (off Walking Street) Windmill, Soi Diamond (off Walking Street) Sapphire, Soi 15 Alley (off Walking Street) For a total spend of 644 baht I still had a great night and went everywhere I wanted. You can see I only had one drink in each place as I like to bar hop a lot. I could have made this night even cheaper still but only chose to drink at bars I like. Meaning plenty of gogo bars were in there plus beer bars that are good for people watching (otherwise the whole vid could have been on Soi Buakhao). I consider the Windmill and Sapphire to be easily in the top 5 Pattaya gogo bars so you can still have a cheap night at some of the best bars in town. Pattaya can be a very cheap place to drink if you know where to go. In Bangkok or Patong it would be almost impossible to have a similar night out. I tried not to hit happy hours too, as a lot of Pattaya bars have drinks promotions that run right through the night (only Insomnia club was a happy hour). Also, I'm not fussy about beer varieties so that certainly helps if you are watching your pennies. If you are thinking of booking a Pattaya hotel in the $20-40 range, make sure to read this website post for more info including essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ If you are thinking of booking a Pattaya Hotel in the $50+ range then read this website post for essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattayas-best-hotels-50/ bangkok112.com free interactive guides: Bangkok Guide: http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-guide-201617/ Pattaya Guide: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-interactive-map-201617/ Patong Guide: http://bangkok112.com/patong-guide-201617/ Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. Pattaya Hotel - from only $20.50

04:01
Pattaya Hotel R-Con @ Siam - from $20.50 Overall this is one of my favourite hotels in Pattaya and in one of the best locations (for me). It was quiet and I slept very well every night and would recommend this place to solo travellers. http://www.agoda.com/r-con-hotel-siam/hotel/pattaya-th.html?cid=1738634 For more info and booking (I was quoted just 715 baht a night in August 2016 booking a couple of weeks in advance which translates to $20.50) NB. If you book a hotel direct through the link above I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Any commission received will be put towards making better YouTube videos and improving and maintaining the bangkok112.com website. Thank you for your support. Bangkok 112 is proud to be 100% independent and does not do any paid promotional work of any kind. All the hotels, bars and services seen in the videos and website were paid out of my own pocket. For further info on hotels from Thailand and neighbouring countries: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLZVq0sblPrIxf4FaAfZqCLYiwu0mPrem Additional info: The [email protected] Hotel located on Soi Buakhao, this visit was in October 2015. I was a walkin customer after viewing a few other 5-600 baht rooms around LK Metro that were not so clean and were very dingy and full of mosquitos. This hotel has been refurbished, but the bathrooms are still very small (no big deal for me). The room layout is a bit weird with plug sockets in awkward locations. My room was spacious, clean and the TV worked fine. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. There were a few other guests staying on my floor but I heard next to no noise from the other rooms. WIFI works in the room and I was able to view YouTube vids at 720p. This hotel is guest friendly too which is a plus. There was no breakfast included but many inexpensive bars and restaurants are nearby on Soi Buakhao. A friend had recommended me this hotel for 850 baht a night but on arrival the staff insisted the price had changed to 990. When I booked an extra couple of nights they tried to change the price again to 1100 baht but I managed to get the room for 990 again after some negotiating. The reception staff are ok but the girl who never shuts up is annoying (you'll know her when you see her). I also met a guy in the lift who was paying 13,000 a month staying long term. Online you can book the rooms from 795 baht a night depending on the time of year which represents very good value. The location is pretty good and you can walk to LK Metro and Second road easily. There is a small and oddly shaped swimming pool that I never used. If you are into lazing around by the pool in the daytime then there are probably better hotels nearby. This hotel is guest friendly so there is no charge to take back a girl for the night. Your guest will have to leave her ID at the reception as per standard practice in Pattaya. The Bangkok Airport Rail Link - 2015

03:32
The Bangkok Airport Rail Link goes from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the centre of Bangkok. It also links to the MRT (underground) and BTS (skytrain) in the heart of Bangkok. The Bangkok Airport Rail Link works out much cheaper than a taxi if you are travelling solo or even as a couple. It is especially good if you are travelling light. Where taxis can be 300-400 baht to your hotel or to the Airport with all surcharges, toll fees and meter fees are totalled up, using the Airport Rail Link saves money and can save on time too. For larger groups and if you have a lot of bags it is still recommended to take a taxi due to the lack of escalators/lifts, also the changing to the MRT at Makkasan and BTS at Phaya Thai is not ideal. Makkasan Station to Suvarnabhumi Airport Journey. Date: 4th April 2015. Cost: 30 Baht View in HD for better quality. Subscribe for more videos. More Info: Considering the traffic that can choke Bangkok, it’s hard to beat the Airport Rail Link, which opened in 2010. Local trains make the journey in 24 minutes from the airport station to Makkasan (transfer to the MRT subway) or 28 minutes to Phaya Thai (transfer to the BTS skytrain, Sukhumvit line) for a maximum fare of 45 baht. Local trains depart every 10 to 20 minutes and stop at several other points in east Bangkok. As of 2015, the old express airport link trains had stopped running. If you're going somewhere not convenient to one of the Airport Rail Link stations (or the MRT/BTS system), it can still be faster and cheaper to take the train into the city during rush hour (07:30-09:30 and 16:30-20:30) and then catch a cab in the city centre. The Suvarnabhumi Airport Link station is accessed from the basement (B floor) of the airport, with signs pointing the way from the upper floors.

Bangkok to Patong Beach, Phuket

02:57
Bangkok to Patong Beach, Phuket 2016 A journey from Don Mueang Airport to the white sands of Patong beach, Phuket. Costs: Air Asia flight: 1839 baht (booked 1 day before travelling) Meter Taxi: 735 baht The meter taxi is much more expensive in Phuket than anywhere else in Thailand. This meter started at 50 baht and went up in increments of 5, as opposed to every other meter taxi I've seen in Thailand that start at 35 baht and go up in increments of 2. The other option was to pay an upfrontt rate of 800 baht to take a taxi. I could have taken the cheaper minibus to Patong (180 baht) but it takes more time, is more dangerous, and they also stop to try and hard sell you day trips. Pattaya City in the evening, montage

04:41
Pattaya City in the evening 2016, montage NEW! Patong Girls post on the bangkok112.com website: http://bangkok112.com/patong-girls-phuket-thailand-2016/ There is something magical about Pattaya city when it comes to the sunsets. If there is a good one it feels very GTA: Vice Cityesque. These were some early evening shots that never made it into other videos. The bus taken at the start was from Ekkamai to Pattaya and currently costs around 109 baht. The moto taxi was 60 baht and I was dropped off on Soi 8 beach road side. About Pattaya beach, people like to knock it but I think it's nicer than 90% of beaches in the West, despite it not being the cleanest. The elevator part was at the base of the Hilton hotel on Beach Road. The pole dancer outro to this video was shot at the 'crazy horse circus bar' on Bangla Road in Patong, Thailand. Pattaya - Obey Your Master

03:43
Pattaya - You're Life Burns Faster, Obey Your Master CAMERA USED IN THIS VIDEO: http://amzn.to/2oT75nF NEWER CAMERA I USE FOR 2017: http://amzn.to/2oT5fmJ I haven't done a montage video for a while. Yesterday, I found a nice remix so here is Pattaya full on, full bore 100mph. Pattaya can be an unforgiving place, and could be said to be the 'master' of the many men who live there and also to the guys around the world who count down the days to return for their yearly holiday in paradise. So the lyrics are quite fitting. All clips are from October 2015 and all are (or will be included) in other videos. The fight part at the start will be included in an upcoming 'Trouble in Paradise' video (don't worry, it looks worse than what it was). You can also think of this video as a trailer to this one https://youtu.be/V2YQy0SCnyQ (no music was added to the clips on this video). Top 10 Bangkok gogo Bars (Soi Cowboy, Patpong, Nana Plaza)

13:30
Top 10 Bangkok gogo Bars - (Soi Cowboy, Patpong and Nana Plaza) 2016 This list was compiled from the last few years of drinking in the gogo bars of Bangkok. These are the best gogo bars that I visit regularly and enjoy drinking in. In no particular order: Soi Cowboy: Baccara 0:57 Lighthouse 2:07 Crazy House 3:05 Shark 3:55 Patpong: Bada Bing 5:05 Nana Plaza: R & B Bar 6:11 Spanky's 7:00 Bangkok Bunnies 8:12 Angelwitch 9:16 Billboard 10:00 Honorable mentions 11:04 Bangkok gogo bars can be fickle from night to night, and good bars can go bad with management and staff changes. But I stand by this list as a solid guide to Bangkok's best gogo bars as of February 2016. Note: No ladyboy gogo bars have been included, and also I have omitted bars which pass off post-op ladyboys as ladies. Thank you for watching and visit http://bangkok112.com/top-10-gogo-bars-in-bangkok/ for more info from this video.

Saturday Night in Bangkok - VLOG 28

07:25
Saturday Night in Bangkok - VLOG 28 A recent Saturday night out in Bangkok on 7th November, 2015. I went to Soi Cowboy, then on to Nana Plaza, then finally to Bangkok Beat Nightclub on Soi 7/1. The Cod and Chips cost 240 baht at 'Fish and Ship' and was pretty decent (located on Soi 22). On this night the head of the tourist police turned up on Soi Cowboy as part of a police campaign to clamp down on crime against visitors to Thailand. It was a safety initiative by the police and intended to strengthen tourist confidence. I got out of the way once the entourage made a procession down the street! Over in Nana Plaza Rainbow 4 has been ordered shut for a month for being caught having minors working there. Bangkok MILFS was open. I didn't go in on this night but spotted some pretty girls outside, and not too old looking. I went to JailbirdZ gogo bar, partly due to the girls on the left side dancing topless. What I didn't expect was for the music to be so bad. It was so loud. Impossible to have a conversation, maybe the boss was away so the DJ could 'play' as it was on par with Crazy House for impossibly loud and bad music. I left after half a beer due to the volume being intolerable. Last stop was Bangkok Beat on Soi 7/1, before having some food and heading home. Pattaya by Day - Full English Breakfasts & Soi Buakhao Walk

11:28
Pattaya by Day - Full English Breakfasts & Soi Buakhao Walk If you are thinking of booking a Pattaya hotel there are 2 guides on the website now including essential booking tips: $50+ Pattaya hotels: http://bangkok112.com/pattayas-best-hotels-50/ $20-40 Pattaya hotels http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ This video from July 2016 includes couple of Pattaya Full English Breakfasts sampled. Then a walk on Soi Buakhao with some popular restaurants, bars and hotels pointed out. Finally a mototaxi ride to Beach road via New Plaza and Soi 7. Parts of this video: 0:00 The Sportsman, Soi 13 Full English Breakfast 1:35 Cafe Pitini, Soi Buakhao Full English Breakfast 2:50 Soi Buakhao walk around 4:45 Soi Lengkee inc Opey De Place 6:03 Soi Honey - dirty massage street 8:12 Mototaxi ride from Soi Buakhao to Soi 8 Beach Road via New Plaza and Soi 7. 11:24 Map of the locations in this video Additional notes: The Sportsman vs Cafe Pitini Full English Breakfasts The Sportsman won this one by a mile, good high quality ingredients and a fantastic breakfast only let down by the higher than average price. The carvery looked nice too and was popular, the cost being 425 baht. The glossy magazine I was flicking through was by 'afterdarkasia' and I really like the colours in the photos. As far as I know they are still putting out magazines but have stopped making videos. Cafe Pitini is popular with local expats and serves Thai / Western food. My breakfast was very average overall and I probably wouldn't order it again. I left without finishing my plate and I left hungry. It is worth noting that they do excellent Western daily specials from around 149 baht which are popular and considered very good value. Jolly's on Soi Buakhao is still my number one choice for a Full English Breakfast in Pattaya, and costs 155 baht. Soi Buakhao Walk Around July 2016 is the low low season, and a lot of building work and improvements were taking place when I was there. Opey De Place This hotel is cheap and in a great location. Recently I tried booking a room last minute but it was totally full up - a good sign for any hotel in the low season! If you fancy booking a room at Opey De Place then check here for booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ Soi Lengkee / Soi Buakhao / Soi Diana intersection from HELL! This part of Pattaya is IMO the worst for people walking by. When it is busy motorbikes weave and zoom by at speed, baht buses stop creating bottlenecks, and cars skim by pedestrians with no sidewalk on offer. Be extra careful here when crossing the road as accidents must happen here on a daily basis as this crossroads resembles a game of chicken sometimes. Soi Chaiyapoon and Soi Honey are the dirty massage streets in this area. I stopped by Soi Honey this time and was more than happy with my chosen masseuse. Massages are a 200 baht flat rate, with extras being around 500 baht for a happy ending and 1000 baht for full service ;) You can skip the massage and go straight for the extras if you prefer. Make sure you specify which girl you want in the massage, as if you don't then you will get whoever is next in line. Mototaxi ride to Soi 8 Beach Road This ride cost 40 baht, and cut through the New Plaza bar area. These bars are more laid back and generally have older girls working. Do you always read these video descriptions? If so, please leave a comment as they take a bit of time to write out, and if nobody reads them then I'll cut them out and put more info in the video itself. Also, if you have any suggestions for future videos please leave a comment below and I'll see what I can do :) Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. Best Infinity Pool in PATTAYA [by far]

10:07
Best Infinity Pool in PATTAYA [by far] The best Patttaya infinity pool is arguably at the [email protected] Design Hotel. The 2 infinity pools are free for non hotel guests to use as long as drinks are purchased. Happy hour runs from 5-7pm and is 2 for 1 on drinks. Towels are provided if you fancy a swim as well as light snacks. On the date I visited there was a very poor sunset so I can only imagine how amazing it would be up there on an evening with a nice sunset. I was hungover on this day so I only paid 58 baht for a water (got one free too) which was great value. I think this place would be great for a date too as the first time up there is a very memorable experience. The Siam @ Siam Design Hotel is itself a great 4-star guest friendly hotel and it made the Bangkok112 top list for hotels $50+. For essential booking tips see here: http://bangkok112.com/pattayas-best-hotels-50/ Also, I have opened beta testing for a personalised Pattaya interactive map. I've included all my favourite bars and establishments that make it into my videos. Soi Cowboy Ladyboy Bar p3 - Bangkok 2015 [HD] Cockatoo agogo bar Video of the outside of Cockatoo Ladyboy gogo bar on a busy night as you can see from all the people walking past. April 2015 Time: Late View in 1080p for better quality. Like and Subscribe for more videos. Soi Cowboy is a red-light district in Bangkok, Thailand. A short (150 meter long) street with some 40 bars, it is similar to Nana Plaza and Patpong and caters mainly to tourists and expatriates. It is located near Sukhumvit Road, between Sukhumvit Soi 21 (also called Soi Asoke) and Soi 23, within walking distance from the BTS Skytrain's Asok Station and the Bangkok Metro's Sukhumvit Station. The Grand Millennium Hotel is nearby. The go-go bars follow the pattern common in Thailand: alcoholic drinks are served and women in bikinis dance on a stage. Topless or even nude dancing. The soi was given its name by longtime nightlife columnist Bernard Trink, after the late T. G. "Cowboy" Edwards, a retired American airman who opened one of the first bars there in 1977. A tall African-American, Edwards got his nickname because he often wore a cowboy hat.

Pattaya hotel - Would you stay here?

Pattaya hotel - I like it, but would you stay here? D hotel is where I like to stay normally when I'm in Pattaya. Would you stay here from looking at the hotel in this video? If not why not? Price? Location? Amenities? Other? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below... Please consider booking your hotels through the links on www.bangkok112.com at no extra cost for win/win. Parts of this video include: 0:04 Outside the hotel 0:19 Superior room 3:58 Bathroom 4:38 Rooftop pool 5:44 Map of location 5:52 Bonus scenes 7:22 Outro from Lucifer disco on Walking Street Additional comments: Disclaimer: Bangkok 112 is 100% independent and has never done (and never will do) any paid promotions. The guest friendly D Hotel is a place I keep coming back to when I stay in Pattaya. I just love the quiet location on Soi Buakhao, but it's never more than a baht bus ride away from anywhere central in Pattaya. The rooms are clean and spacious, they have a nice rooftop pool, there is unlimited tea/coffee provided and there is an in room safe. Everything in the room still has a new feeling after opening in Jan 2016, it shows that the owners are maintaining their hotel well. The service girls on the front desk were very helpful (a rarity in cheaper Pattaya hotels), and granted me a late checkout with minimal fuss when I returned very late one night. No hotel is perfect, there is no fitness centre, the location is not the best for Pattaya newbies, the standard checkout time is 11am instead of noon, and the room service finishes early at 5pm. But all these things are very minor in the grand scheme of things and D hotel is my number one place to stay in Pattaya for the price, just slightly ahead of April Suites and Pattaya Blue Sky... Pattaya - Soi 6, Daytime Boozing VLOG 62

10:37
Pattaya - Soi 6, Daytime Boozing VLOG 62 On this day I went on the lash in the daytime in early April 2016 (before Songkran). The video starts with a comparison of 2 Full English Breakfasts recommended to me (I ate these on separate days but included them in together for comparison). After, I went to Soi 8 beach road for a cheap beer, before heading to Soi 6 to continue the boozing. Feel free to skip straight to the Soi 6 bars @ 3:34 (especially to all you mongers - you know who you are!) 0:00 2 English Breakfasts on Soi Buakhao 1:20 Heading to Soi 7 2:32 Soi 8, a quick 55 baht beer 3:13 Soi 6 - bars included the Solo Club and Roxy bar. About the breakfast part: I like to eat Full English Breakfasts when in Pattaya and these 2 recommended places were located on Soi Buakhao. Take Away: I would rate this breakfast as ok. The bacon, eggs and beans were all fine, but it was let down mostly by the sausages. Jolly's: A great breakfast, and the best one I've had in Pattaya for value and quality of food. Just one thing; I don't understand how they can serve such a big plate of food with only one slice of toast (that bread is only about 1 baht a slice in Thailand!). Opey de Place on Soi Lengkee Road in Pattaya is considered a very good choice for solo male travellers on a budget. The price of the rooms is reasonable, the location is excellent (close to Soi Buakhao & LK Metro) and reviews are generally 3 to 4 stars out of 5. My stay was good at Opey. I liked the location a lot, the room price was good and most importantly it was clean. Big fridge with a modern Sony TV were a bonus. Cheapest minibar prices I've seen with good value room service. Nice swimming pool good for socialising with your fellow solo male travellers if that's what you're into. It's easy to see why Opey de Place gets fully booked often as it ticks a lot of boxes. Negatives for me were that the room had an ageing guesthouse feel to it so it's definitely not a place for everyone (eg. old air conditioning unit), and there were no complimentary tea/coffee facilities provided. No place is ever perfect, but I'd say this is a good choice of hotel as long as you are used to staying in budget accommodation. Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. Vientiane to Udon Thani by bus - Jan 2015

02:15
Vientiane to Udon Thani by bus - Jan 2015 So I decided to take a new route to Udon Thani after getting a bit of hassle last time with private taxis and waiting for vans to fill at the Laos border. Costs: 250 (bus) + 75 (taxi) = 325 baht total Time was around 3 hours total from the hotel pickup to getting to Udon Thani airport. The bus was not that comfortable and a bit dusty, but it was ok overall and bearable for the journey. The taxi drivers wouldn't use the meter at Udon bus station, not even the ones we tried to flag driving around with the red light on. If you buddy up the 150 baht cost is not that bad. We were quoted 100 baht for a tuk tuk to the airport but it was hot so we went for the taxi. View in HD for better quality. Subscribe for more videos and to encourage future video productions.

Angeles City, Philippines - THE BEST HOTEL I stayed at...

Angeles City Hotel, Philippines - THE BEST HOTEL I stayed at... Central Park Tower hotel was my favourite of all the places I stayed at when I was in Angeles City, Philippines *NEW* Join the Bkk112 Patreon membership site: https://www.patreon.com/bangkok112 (inc. exclusive Patreon only videos) Angeles City's guest friendly hotels guide: http://bangkok112.com/angeles-citys-best-guest-friendly-hotels-philippines/ Parts of this video include: 0:04 Outside and lobby view 0:18 Executive room, around $66.50 was the standard price when I visited 3:50 Bathroom check 5:01 Map of the location (very good for the Walking Street/Fields Avenue bars) 5:14 Rooftop pool 6:48 Outro from the Crazy Horse Circus bar in Patong, Thailand Disclaimer: Bangkok 112 is 100% independent and has never done any paid promotions. Central Park Tower is a 4-Star, guest friendly hotel with 238 rooms. Room rates start from around $66. It's a highly regarded hotel in a very central location for the main strip of bars and restaurants of Angeles City. Owned by a US businessman (along with the nearby Pacific Breeze hotel). The hotel was built in 2014 and the rooms still have a new feel to them. Nice rooftop pool on the 12th floor, along with a 24 hour bar and restaurant giving panoramic views of the surrounding area. Overall: I had an excellent stay at Central Park Tower. My room was furnished to a very high standard, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom was top quality. I found the service excellent here too; I returned at 8am after a long evening on the town and they granted me a 2pm checkout with no fuss which was refreshing. If you are planning on having late nights drinking on Walking Street then having a hotel close by like this one is a very good idea, as it eliminates the need to use local transport late at night. If this hotel falls within your price range then forget the rest and just book in here. Reactions from the girls in the bars were favourable for this place, some lit up like a christmas tree when I mentioned it as Central Park Tower has a very good reputation locally. Downsides to this hotel (no place is perfect) were that the fitness centre was under construction when I visited. There is access to the nearby Pacific Breeze hotel fitness room, but it's not convenient. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but this is standard for many hotels in the Philippines. Tips: Request a high floor when booking and checking in. Also, they have both smoking and non-smoking rooms segregated off so specify this when booking and checking in too just to sure. [email protected] hotel Pattaya has the wow factor in spades. Make sure you make use of the rooftop pools and skybar. [email protected] is guest friendly, so there are no extra joiner fees to pay for a lady you take back there. The WIFI was excellent as they have a few floors dedicated to business travellers. I could watch YouTube vids at 1080p. Non guests at the hotel can use the rooftop swimming pools but now there is a minimum spend of 350 baht per person on food/drinks for the privilege (March 2017). There was also a happy hour of buy one get one free from 5-6pm if you're just heading up there for a sunset drink. Patong Hotel - $29 Right near the Action

Patong Hotel - $29 - The Yorkshire Hotel This guest friendly hotel in Patong had an amazing location being only 2 mins walk to Bangla road. Very good facilities too with a swimming pool / gym / sauna all available for guests to use. Overall: I recommended Yorkshire hotel for solo travellers, it has one of the best locations and I wouldn't hesitate to book in again. If you are thinking of booking Yorkshire Hotel or another Patong hotel in the $15-40 range, make sure to read this website post for more info including essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/patong-best-hotels-15-40-night/ Bangkok 112 is proud to be 100% independent and does not do any paid promotional work. For further info on hotels from Thailand and neighbouring countries: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLZVq0sblPrIxf4FaAfZqCLYiwu0mPrem The room I stayed in was the standard deluxe room without a window. I paid 1400 baht a night in March 2016. I booked this place due to a combination of the amazing facilities and location. The gym is massive and is on par with most paid membership fitness centers. The pool was great and the restaurant / bar was also good. The room I choose was pretty small TBH. It was fine for one person just using the place to crash but if you are going to be hanging out in the room a lot I would recommend booking a larger room. This place was guest friendly (as are most at Patong) and everything in the room was in full working order. I enjoyed my stay at the Yorkshire and would recommend it for solo travellers who like gyms / swimming pools and being close to the action. Parts of this video: 0:00 Swimming pool / gym / restaurant 0:55 Room, 1400 baht 4:14 Map (including a couple of other nearby hotels) 4:22 Outro, Bangla road NEW! More info from the Yorkshire Hotel on this room: Outstanding Value There are larger rooms in Patong, even in our own hotel. However we are committed to providing something for every budget. Patong in the Daytime, Phuket 2016 - VLOG 64 A video of a day in Patong, Phuket. On this day I went to watch some sports, tried an English Breakfast, then went to Bangla road and walked along Patong Second road. It was boiling hot too and the 36 degrees that it was felt much hotter than in Bangkok. Parts of this video include: 0:00 Nanai Road, near where I was staying 0:51 The Yorkshire Hotel bar, some Ultimate Fighting and a 220 baht English Breakfast (the food was good but nothing special) 2:23 Soi Sansabai and a police checkpoint stopping motorbikes - if you had no helmet, no international drivers license, or no registration documents for the bike you had to pay the police a fine on the spot. 3:18 Bangla Road in the daytime 4:27 Patong beach road 6:12 Sights along Patong 2nd road including some massage places 9:31 Bangla Road just before sunset Thanks for watching, subscribe to this channel, follow me on twitter, and bookmark the bangkok112.com website to be sure not to miss any new releases. Soi Cowboy Girls 3, Bangkok 2015 [HD]

Soi Cowboy All Girls 3, Bangkok 2015 [HD] Video showing some Soi Cowboy Girls on a busy night in the high season. View in 1080p for the best quality. Like and Subscribe to Bangkok 112 for new videos EVERY DAY. Music: Cartoon - Why We Lose (feat. Cheapest Pattaya 4-Star Hotel...???

06:55
Cheapest Pattaya 4-Star Hotel...??? The Adelphi I'd been recommended The Adelphi in Pattaya as a great place to stay. It's a new 4-star hotel just off Soi Buakhao and has low room rates for what you get. For more info on Pattaya hotels: Best Pattaya Hotels $20-40: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ Best Pattaya Hotels $50+: http://bangkok112.com/pattayas-best-hotels-50/ I paid only 1092 baht ($31.50) for a night in August 2016 through an agoda flash deal. If you can get an agoda flash deal it's definitely very good value for money. Normal room rates at the Adelphi start around 1300 baht for the low season (May-Oct) and are 1500-2000 baht in the high season (Nov-Apr). The Adelphi is a guest friendly hotel with 76 rooms. This hotel is often fully booked up, and was when I stayed in the low season so reserve a room ahead as far as possible. Parts of this video include: 0:04 30 sq m deluxe room 3:18 Bathroom 4:02 Map of the location in relation to the 4 main Pattaya bar areas 4:06 My booking screenshot (agoda flash deal) 4:14 Rooftop pool / fitness centre and bonus scenes Overall: I really enjoyed my stay here, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone if it falls in your price range. I will include the Adelphi in the top hotels $20-40 on the bangkok112.com website soon. The beds were really comfy, the facilities and service were great, and everything still had that 'new' feeling. It was quiet at night (a must for me), and there are many inexpensive bars and restaurants 2 minutes away on Soi Buakhao. No place is perfect, some of the negatives were: - Location far from the beach - Location not really newbie friendly (if you know Pattaya already it's fine) - No balconies on the lower floors (request a high floor when booking) - No 7-Eleven on the doorstep (nearest one is 2 minutes away) - Relatively high price for a beer in the rooftop pool area, 115 baht. Bangkok 112 is 100% independent and doesn't do any paid promotional work. Everything comes out of my pocket and I prefer to be a 'regular guest' rather than get any special treatment. If you are looking at Bangkok or Patong hotels then don't reserve a room until you have read the following website posts: Patong: http://bangkok112.com/patong-best-hotels-15-40-night/ Bangkok, Soi Cowboy http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-stay-near-soi-cowboy/ Bangkok, Nana Plazahttp://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-where-to-stay-near-nana-plaza/ Bangkok, Soi 11http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-stay-near-sukhumvit-soi-11/ Bangkok, cheap hotels http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-cheap-budget-places-30/ Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. Bangkok's Chinatown - Vlog 126

14:20
Exploring Chinatown for the first time - Bangkok Vlog 126 Parts of this video include: 0:04 Intro preview 0:59 Arriving at 9pm by mototaxi (cost 60 baht from Hua Lamphong) 1:34 Shark Fin soup restaurant 3:17 Walking along the busy sidewalks 4:20 T & K Seafood, number 1 Chinatown restaurant in Bangkok 5:34 Wander up a side alley, cheap Pad Thai and Bird's nest soup spotted 7:26 Dragon Beard Candy being made, a Chinese sweet 9:43 Game: How long will it take to cook 4 small prawns in a wok? 10:36 Lek & Rut Seafood, popular street side restaurant 11:56 Walking up Yaorawat road 12:36 Cheap place for Bird's Nest and Shark Fin soup 14:00 Outro from the Crazy Horse Circus bar in Patong, Phuket Additional Notes: Despite living in Bangkok for many years this was my first ever visit to Chinatown. The main reason being it's a bit out of the way for me to get too. Chinatown in Bangkok was certainly busy at 9pm. There was hardly any room to walk in places and the place was lively with many tourists and locals sitting down to eat the tasty street food on offer. Shark's fin Soup This is a controversial dish that's a delicacy in Chinese culture, believed by some to prevent cancer and it's often eaten as a show of wealth. There is no flavour and little to no nutrition to be gained from eating the fin as it's all cartilage. Plenty of places were selling it but from what I could gather it was very expensive. T & K Seafood This distinctive green coloured restaurant is the number 1 Chinatown restaurant on Trip advisor. It's a relatively cheap seafood restaurant. It can get very busy with a number system for people outside waiting in line. T & K is known to be always busy and even has 4 or 5 floors of aircon seating inside. Some reviews online have stated it's too busy, not the cleanest of places and the service is abrupt, but that adds to the character IMO. Dragon Beard Candy This is a traditional Chinese sweet and rolling the candy out is considered an art. Make sure to eat it fast as it doesn't keep similar to cotton candy. Red hot fire woks The temperatures used to cook food here is astonishing at times. Be careful when walking around as health and safety is often not at the top of priorities. Lek & Rut Seafood This popular place is opposite the green T & K seafood restaurant. Both places serve similar dishes at similar prices and are good for people watching. Bird's Nest Soup This Chinese delicacy is made from real harvested birds nests. Swifts are the birds used, and their hardened saliva nests are what is eaten. Bangkok is one of the cheapest places in the World to try this dish, believed to have rich medicinal properties by the Chinese. Overall Chinatown in Bangkok is a bit of a love/hate place. Personally I really enjoyed my first visit as I liked the vibrant atmosphere and the culture. But, if you're not into the street food then I'd give this one a miss on your travels. This video is part 1 of 2, so expect a follow up shortly... A Night at Patpong - Bangkok Vlog 169

14:22
A Night at Patpong - Bangkok Vlog 169, 2017 A video of a night in the oldest expat bar area of Bangkok, the infamous Patpong. Where many rip off ping pong scam bars exist, but alongside are also some hidden gems like Bada Bing and Kings Castle 1 that can hold their own with Nana and Cowboy's best bars... *NEW* Join the Bkk112 Patreon membership site: https://www.patreon.com/bangkok112 (inc. exclusive Patreon only videos) Parts of this video include: 0:04 Quick beer at Soi Cowboy, then heading to Patpong 2:17 Patpong Soi 2, Dragon's Head Pub 3:59 Pink Panther bar 4:30 Street food near the Pink Panther bar 5:26 Super Pussy and the 'Ping Pong scam shows' of Patpong 6:06 Kangaroo Club 7:15 Patpong soi 1 9:09 Thigh bar 11:10 Bada Bing Bar 12:32 Taxi back to Soi Cowbo y 13:33 Patreon message 14:01 Outro from the Crazy Horse Circus bar in Patong Additional Comments: As long as you avoid the ping pong scam bars at Patpong, a good night out can be had. The most popular bars are Bada Bing and Kings Castle 1. The live music bar can be good, as well as some older style bars such as Safari. *Patpong Ping Pong bar scam* Basically touts who promise free entry, 100 baht drinks and a free naughty show. The reality is that the upstairs ping pong show bars all charge hidden fees of up to 2000 baht per person. If the inflated bill is disputed then things often turn ugly fast. Visit trip advisor's Patpong Night Market to read up on the latest tourists to be scammed, some are quite amusing :) If you want to see a Bangkok ping pong show without the hidden fees then Suzi Wong and Long Gun on S0i Cowboy have these shows nightly and are a much safer option. This footage was taken towards the end of the high season. On this trip it was around the time of the 'half moon party' so that accounts for some of the bars not being as busy as normal (so I was told). Thanks for watching and subscribe for more videos. Soi Cowboy in the High Season - Bangkok VLOG 38

15:48
Soi Cowboy High Season - Bangkok VLOG 38 This VLOG was taken a few days before Christmas 2015. It starts off briefly at Sukhumvit Soi 7/1, then Soi 4 including Nana Plaza, finally on to Soi Cowboy. The high season for 2015/16 has been really slow in Bangkok and many times I've been in bars packed with girls but with very few customers. The atmosphere feels very flat nearly everywhere I've been in Bangkok, especially in the red light areas. Soi Cowboy on this night was a prime example, many girls and not enough customers. 13:17 Bonus Section from Nana Plaza. Thank you for watching this video, subscribe to the channel to be sure not to miss any upcoming releases. Visit www.bangkok112.com for more info about Thailand.

I was looking forward to staying at Sabai Wing, as the location on Soi 1 is good and the facilities seemed excellent. Overall: Sabai Wing hotel reaches the 'also consider' section for recommendations on www.bangkok112.com. It has great swimming pools, is clean and in a great location with a good price too. But the tired, guesthouse feel to the place will put off some especially in this modern age. The free WIFI was fine and I could watch YouTube at 720p in my room. I paid just over 1000 baht through agoda for a room in November 2016 ($28). Room rates start around 1214 baht a night Dec-March ($34) dropping April onwards to 908 baht ($25) booking through agoda in early 2017. Extra tips: - You can use the amazing rooftop swimming pools at the nearby [email protected] Design hotel as long as you purchase drinks (towels will be provided). For a detailed video of the pools see here: https://youtu.be/pViY0VcrsSg - The big Central Marina shopping mall is close by and very convenient. Cinema, restaurants & shopping. - The beach is only a 2 minute walk away. 40 baht to hire a deck chair in the shade. - Nearest 7-Eleven is on Second road towards dolphin circle pas the ibis hotel. - Soi 6 is only a 3 minute walk away ;) Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. The bars here close relatively early around 1am, most of the punters will move on to Walking Street down beach road later... If you're a Pattaya Soi 6 newbie I recommend visiting Ruby Club or Roxy bar first, as they are both Western owned, have above average ladies and have an air con section inside away from public view... Ringing the bell If you ring the bell in a Pattaya bar it means buying all the staff a drink, or maybe even all the customers in the bar too (make sure you know beforehand). It really adds to the party atmosphere as you can see in this video. Let the good times flow... Nice sunset Pattaya gets a lot of negative press, but on this day the sunset was simply majestic looking out over the gulf of Thailand. It felt like I was in a real life GTA Vice City game, all I needed was to drive a soft top car and have Emotion FM on the radio to make it more perfect.... :) Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos. The Best Value Hotel in PATTAYA...???

08:39
April Suites Hotel Review - from $27 April Suites is often said to be the best value hotel in all of Pattaya (or even the whole of Thailand). This hotel is a 3-star, guest friendly hotel with 79 rooms. It is often fully booked up, especially in the high season with many repeat customers staying. So I booked myself in and will give you the low down of my stay. If you are thinking of booking April Suites or another Pattaya hotel in the $20-40 range, make sure to read this website post for more info including essential booking tips: http://bangkok112.com/pattaya-best-hotels-20-to-40-a-night/ I stayed in August 2016, and paid 1275 baht for a 32 sq. m. deluxe room booking just one day before staying. I thought it was good value, but I would probably opt for the smaller room option if staying again. April Suites is guest friendly, so there is no extra charge to bring back a lady friend. The location is really quiet at night, as it's at the end of a small alley. It's a 3 minute walk to Soi 7 & 8 and second road where you catch the baht buses is just 1 min away. The beach is about a 5 minute walk. My room was big, clean and everything worked. The aircon was so cold that I ended up having to turn the temperature up and on light. TV was good, with Western cable channels available. 14+ plug sockets available in the room, probably the most I've ever seen! No kettle or tea / coffee facilities provided, but you can apparently request a kettle. Big fridge, good for staying long term. Free WIFI was good and there were no connectivity issues when I stayed. My room had a very small balcony, good for smokers but you must turn the aircon off when you are out there as it makes a racket. Bathroom was good, everything worked fine. The free shampoo and shower gel was actually good quality for once and not the cheapest available. When I stayed in August 2016 they were repairing the rooftop swimming pool area, so it will be fully operational for the high season. The fitness centre on the roof was not the biggest, having a sauna is definitely a bonus and was unexpected. If you are into fitness you can also use the bigger gym in the sister hotel August Suites not far away. No place is perfect, I can find faults anywhere and these were the negatives: No kettle in room 2 single mattresses pushed together for the double bed (not an issue for me) No 7-Eleven right on the doorstep (they do have a local shop opposite though) Taxis and Mototaxi drivers often don't know this hotel (take a hotel card out with you for sure) It is located at the end of a short alley, which may not be to some people's liking. Overall: It's a great hotel for a great price. Very clean, spacious and functional. The service was also definitely above average. A good location close to the bars but still quiet enough to sleep. No place is perfect, and April Suites does have a few very minor flaws. But I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it if it falls in within your budget. Parts of this video: 0:06 Deluxe room 1275 baht 3:11 Bathroom 4:26 Rooftop pool 5:06 Bar and lobby area 5:36 Bonus footage - inc Fitness centre, Sauna, and the alleyway 8:34 Map of the location in relation to the 4 main Pattaya bar areas If you are booking a Bangkok or Patong hotel then don't reserve a room until you have read the following website posts: http://bangkok112.com/patong-best-hotels-15-40-night/ http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-stay-near-soi-cowboy/ http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-where-to-stay-near-nana-plaza/ http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-stay-near-sukhumvit-soi-11/ http://bangkok112.com/bangkok-hotels-cheap-budget-places-30/ Thank you for watching and subscribe for more videos.
