Deep within the Red Forest northeast of the Sea of Rhûn once lived a race. A race of Red People, ruled by the Red King. Those were good, honourable people.
But the Red Queen was ruthless. After the King's shocking death, she ruled alone - fiercly and unfairly. She searched for long lost and forbidden dark powers and she stole them. Those who disobeyed her orders, were brought to the castle where their hearts were taken out. And after that they had to live an empty, loveless life, forever subdued to her. They called her – the Queen of Hearts.
And she kept the stolen hearts for herself. She worshiped them, and they gave her a new power which drove her to madness. She wanted it all, and for that she also wanted to cheat the death. The Queen of Hearts conspired with the most deadly of foes, the Dark Lord Sauron, and together they wanted to take over all Middle Earth. But the race of men and elves joined their forces and they defeated both Sauron and the Queen. The Dark Lord disappeared, whilst the Queen ran back to her Kingdom, which was destroyed and in ruins. The elves captured and bannished her and she was locked away in the depths of her own doom. The elves guarded the dangerous, immortal Queen with their lives, not daring to ever return back to that forsaken Kingdom, for the elves felt the evil more than any race.
But what the elves did not know was that the Queen had a daughter. A Princess, who is to yet to become the next Queen of Hearts. Her name is Vanmoriel and she remained in the shadows of the Red Kingdom, only her hatred and the will for vengeace keeping her alive. And the Kingdom stayed there in silence untill all the stories were forgotten and the tales became myth and the myth became legend.
Now the time has come - a Princess is about to rise and she will try to claim back what is rightfuly hers. What remains a mystery is if her heart will turn black or will she choose the light? Can her heart still be saved?
