5 EXTREMELY CREEPY Deep Sea Creatures
Here are 5 Extremely Creepy Deep Sea Creatures Click Here To Subscribe! http://bit.ly/EliteFacts List : 5. The Ningen This creature from the depths of the ocean may be just about the creepiest thing you could ever see. The reason for this, is that it looks just like a human even having strange limbs that resemble arms and legs. The name Ningen is actually human in Japanese. However, there is no need to panic and worry that the world will be taken over by strange alien sea creatures, because there has never been any official sightings of this little beastie and general opinion is that it’s just a freaky urban myth much like the mermaid. 4. Mantis Shrimp This rainbow hued little creature is not as nice as it looks. It is actually extremely clever and horribly dangerous. One of its main talents is being able to see colours that far surpass even the furthest imagination of humans. As well as, it is an efficient killing machine, it has two appendages at the front of its body which can lash out so powerfully that they cause the water surrounding the creature to reach boiling point! So, even the clever prey that have managed to avoid the physical attack will be rendered defenceless by the boiling water. 3. Pelican Eel Eel’s in general are quite creepy looking, but this one has taken it to another level. This slippery character is basically just a huge mouth with a tail attached. The mouth itself is absolutely terrifying, it unhinges so that its owner can catch prey that is twice its size. The chosen prey is then stored in a pouch within the lower jaw. However, the tail can be just as weird as it possesses a small light producing organ that is called a photophore and this gives off an eerie pink glow. 2. Humpback Anglerfish The female of this species most certainly has a licence to kill. She uses her feminine charm which comes in the form of a bioluminescent lure dangling over her forehead to draw in prey that she can destroy with her rows of ferocious teeth. 1. Predatory Tunicate This is basically a Venus Fly Trap that lives underwater. They are almost completely translucent and they stick themselves to the sea floor and wait patiently for a tasty meal to come along. Once an unsuspecting critter falls for the trap the creatures snap their hoods shut until they’ve had their fill. Smithsonian Prehistoric Sea Monsters Triops Experiment
Hi guys, here is our triops experiment from eggs to fully grown sea creatures. Jacob was over the moon when we found this set at Costco and he bought it with his own toy money. in the experiment you can see us put the aquarium together and see the triops grow over 10 days. It was a very fun experiment and i really recommend it. the triops took only one day to come out of their eggs even though they are very small you can still see miniscule things floating around. i hope you enjoy our video

Prehistoric Creatures That Still Exist Today
Top 10 animals from that existed millions of years ago during the dinosaur era still roaming the earth today. Remove the weak and flawed and move forward with the best and fittest among existing species. For a species to have lasted through not only generations but across eras and time periods, those inside of that species have to have adapted within their present environment and preserved their existence amidst predatory threats. Humans may be intellectually advanced beings, but we never had to find a means of survival while dinosaurs roamed the earth. Other creatures, however, did. And, believe it or not, some of them have stuck around to this very day. While we humans view ourselves as the predominant species on the planet, we weren’t the first one’s here, nor are we currently the longest-reigning residents of the planet. When you think about it, this list of prehistoric creatures that continue to exist into the present day features species that have lived alongside – and survived and outlived – some of the biggest, nastiest and most vicious carnivores to ever walk the earth. It helps that so many of the species dwell under water, leaving them safe from some threats while prone to others and also making them rarely seen and almost mythical in nature. Indeed, little seems to have changed for these species as they’ve forged through so much of the universe’s existence. Most have maintained a remarkable level of similarity in their appearance and behavior from their prehistoric selves. Incredibly, these creatures may not represent a complete collection of what still exists among us. Despite modern advances in scientific technology, we are still learning of existing species both new and old, including ones thought long since extinct. The ancient coelacanth fish, for instance, was thought to have died out 65 million years ago, with researchers unaware that lucky fishermen off the coast of Africa had been occasionally catching them for years. Ultimately, one species came to be officially rediscovered in 1938 and another more recently in 1998. What we do know, however, is that we share the planet with living things that go back hundreds of millions of years. From ferocious sharks and alligators to living organisms as inert as a sea sponge, species both aggressive and tacit have stuck around long-term. All they share is an ancestry that goes back longer than we could possibly fathom. To put the life span of some of these species into perspective, the modern form of humans has a lineage that only traces back 200,000 years, with our earliest ancestors dating back to about six million years ago. In all of these estimated timelines, you can probably quibble on a million years here and there, but they still paint a picture of some pretty old species. Suffice to say, the ancestors of these creatures would probably have some stories to tell, provided that they were intelligent beings, could speak and didn’t die millions of years ago. Still, the survival skills of their species clearly can’t be questioned. Here are 10 prehistoric creatures that continue to live among us. Wild Animals in Water - Close Encounters
These are some close encounters with wild animals out at sea. Watch Hippos, whales and sharks attacking or just saying “Hi”, ether way it makes for some awesome footage! A wild hippopotamus can weigh up to 3 tonnes and have been known to move at speeds well over 40 kilometres per hour for short bursts, if a hippopotamus is chasing you and wants to make a meal out of you it is not often possible to out run these mammoth beasts, see what it looks like when Angry Hippo is charging boat on the chobe river in Botswana See a great white shark off the coast of Mossel Bay in South Africa as it attacks an inflatable boat, an inflatable boat would be easily ruptured by a great white shark and in this clip it is. All those aboard were lucky to make it back to the shore in one piece, thanks to in no small part to the expertise of the tour operators in South Africa. Fishing in shark infested waters on a kayak when a shark can be seen breaching the water just a few meters away from the fisherman Isaac Brumaghim, a heart racing moment. In the moment when a scuba diver off Souza Rock on the Central California Coast Divers have a close call with Humpback Whale that almost swallows him whole as it breaches the surface to feed on a school of fish that he had been filming underwater a moment before. Killer whale chasing speed boat, the whale in this clip is most likely teaching its young how to hunt for prey in the surf, and the wake from the passing speed boat creates the ideal conditions for this practice run. If there was any motivation to be in a boat rather than in the water swimming the clips in this video are it! 10 Most Mysterious Unidentified Creatures Found
top 10 most bizarre animals that remain a mystery to the world. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg Other Videos You Might Like 10 Mysterious Photos That Remain Unexplained https://youtu.be/f-5FmmOTNlk Large Animals You've Never Seen Before https://youtu.be/m95aB5nTEmk Description: What would you do if you were walking on the beach and saw the carcass of an animal that you didn’t know existed? Would you call animal control? The local university? Take a picture? There are a plethora of ways that we deal with situations where we’re unsure of what to do. Usually we go to the experts, assuming they have the answers. Zoologists have been working tirelessly for countless years seeking and identifying as many animals and creatures as they possibly can. But with how big and vast our planet Earth is, it is difficult to declare that every animal has been found. There’s an entire world in the ocean alone down in the murkiest depths of the water. So when a new creature is discovered, the media might go crazy in trying to identify it. This is where mass hysteria and fear tends to take over. Many of the creatures on this list have only been seen by a few people, just enough to create a legend. After the sighting is recorded by the media and/or posted online, other people see the legends and then vow to have their own encounter with the mysterious creature in question. Or, there are other people who just downright lie, therefore perpetuating the legend and lies, and not contributing to zoology or science, but instead myth and legend. Recently, DNA has reportedly been found that confirms the existence of the infamous Big Foot, the creature that walks on two legs and seems to be related to man. Big Foot sightings have been occurring for over a century, but physical proof of the creature’s existence has never been found. Legends, myths, and stories flood the internet with photos of bad quality, with new additions being added online every day. Almost everyone who lives in the mountains will profess that some Big Foot creature exists. Then there is also the Loch Ness monster and the Lake Michigan Monster, two creatures that are dinosaur-like that live in the depths of the lakes. People will flock to the coastlines of these lakes with cameras and camcorders in hopes of capturing the million dollar shot and be credited for finally confirming the existence of Nessie. What brings these monsters together is the fact that they have only been seen, but there has been no physical evidence to confirm nor deny their existence. Because of this, experts can’t make a decision one way or another. But the creatures on this list are the complete opposite. They have been found, but they haven’t been identified. This video might bring about some nightmares, thus perpetuating the mystical life that these creatures may have lived. As stated earlier, as large as our world is, it is impossible to say that we have found every creature on this planet. These new discoveries are bringing scientists at a head as they try to make sense of what has been discovered. When the experts don’t know what’s going on, that is when the public will panic and start taking matters into their own hands when it comes to these mysterious creatures. 5 INSANELY CREEPY Deep Sea Creatures
Today we take a look at 5 insanely creepy deep sea creatures. From deep sea sharks that swallow their victims whole to eels that can eat animals several times their size, there are some pretty creepy deep sea creatures out there. After all, over 70% of the Earth is covered in water and humans have only explored less than 5% of it. Imagine what other amazing creatures could be lurking down there. 5 - Dragonfish Dragonfish are found at depths of nearly 2 KM. They begin their life near the surface, but eventually dragonfish become capable of producing their own light using bioluminescence, allowing them to go deeper. They also have a barbel attached to their lower jaw, used for hunting. 4 - Frilled Sharks Termed a living fossil, frilled sharks inhabit the depths of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. A frilled shark catches its prey by bending its body and lunging forward like a snake. And then proceeding to swallow its victim whole. 3 - Chimera (Ghost Shark) Not to be confused with Greek Muthology, the Chimera is a strange looking species of shark. Also known as ghost sharks, they used to reside throughout the world's oceans, but today are mostly confined to deeper water. 2 - Gulper Eel (Pelican Eel) The Gulper Eel is one of the strangest looking creatures lurking in the deep. Also known as the Pelican Eel, this strange creature is rarely seen by humans, however they are occasionally caught in fishing nets. A Gulper Eel's mouth is loosely hinged, allowing it to eat animals many times bigger that itself. 1 - Megamouth Shark The Megamouth Shark was discovered in 1976 and is an extremely rare species of deep water shark. There is still no consensus in the scientific community as to how to actually classify it. It's most distinctive feature is its gaping mouth, which it probably uses to swallow plankton and small fish. SOAK: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert
August 03, 2015 by BOB BOILEN The opening line of SOAK's debut album — "A teenage heart is an unguided dart" — contains the first words I heard from 19-year-old singer-songwriter Bridie Monds-Watson. Now, she's bringing that fragile, pure, thickly Irish-accented voice to the Tiny Desk. Before We Forgot How To Dream, SOAK's debut, is one of my favorite albums of 2015. Monds-Watson's songs are about growing up and trying to understand adults and friends and life; though they're quiet, they aren't dour. They can be funny and smart, atmospheric and delicate — so much more than might be expected from a lone Irish teenager with an acoustic guitar. Set List "Sea Creatures" 00:00 "B a noBody" 03:29 "Wait" 09:13 Credits Producers: Bob Boilen, Morgan Walker; Audio Engineer: Josh Rogosin; Videographers: Morgan Walker, Lani Milton; Assistant Producer: Mina Tavakoli; photo by Lydia Thompson/NPR

Abnormally Large Animals That Are Actually Real
Huge animals that you won't believe are actually real life living creatures. Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg. Check out the new video form our friends at Hybrid Librarian: '10 MYTHICAL Creatures That Turned Out To Be REAL': https://youtu.be/xylbc68z_Fs For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] These animals are the subject of myths and legends. For thousands of years, writers and philosophers have immortalized these animals in the history books. The existence of these animals have always been speculated, but thanks to the internet and the concept of going viral, people can confirm these animals are real. Even with exposure to the Internet, people will speculate that the photos have been edited or that the videos have been enhanced with CGI. Of course verifying the existence of these animals can be solved with a simple visit or researching the local newspaper archives. In this video are some of the most abnormally large animals that have been verified to be real. Cryptozoology has often informed us of animals that we cannot verify as being actually real, but mainstream news has at least made the following animals real and available to us all. First, we have Zeus, who was known as the tallest dog. Dogs can grow to fairly large sizes, but this particular dog literally stands above all of the rest. Zeus was a Great Dane who weighed about 155 pounds and stood about 44 inches tall. On an average day, Zeus would eat about 12 cups of food per day. Unfortunately, he didn’t live to see his 6th birthday, and his life span was much shorter than the average Great Dane. Next, we have the tallest bunny, whose name is Darius. Per month, Darius can eat through 360 carrots, 30 apples, and 15 cabbages. He is about 6 years old and holds the record for being the tallest rabbit known to exist. Darius weighs about 50 pounds and is about four feet and four inches long. Having a rabbit like Darius can also be pretty costly since his owners are spending well over 2,000 pounds per year to keep the rabbit fed. Your average house cat can also be a contender as one of the largest animals. Ludo is a Maine Coon housecat, who weighs about 24.5 pounds and is 45 inches long. You can bet that Ludo’s owners, the Gill family, probably doesn’t share the bed with their large feline. The craziest part about this is that Ludo is only 17 months old and hasn’t stopped growing yet. Big Jake currently holds the record as the tallest horse. He weighs over 2600 pounds and stands at over 210 centimeters tall. Big Jake can also eat through one and a half bales of hay and 40 quarts of oats each day. This horse has good company with Blosom being the tallest cow at 13 years old. She is six feet four inches tall and weighs about 2000 pounds. Blosom’s owner realized something was special about her when she failed to produce a calf. Her size actually ended up saving her from the slaughterhouse, and she is the current greeter at the farm she lives on. There are many more large animals where this comes from. These animals are real to the touch, and we can imagine that a brand new slew of legends and myths will be written with these giants of the animal kingdom in mind. 70's Kids Remember Sigmund and the Sea Monsters!
Sigmund and the Sea Monsters is an American children's television series that ran from 1973 to 1975, produced by Sid and Marty Krofft and aired on Saturday mornings. There were 29 episodes spanning two seasons. The show centered on two brothers, Johnny (Johnny Whitaker) and Scott Stuart (Scott Kolden), who discover Sigmund (Billy Barty), a friendly young sea monster who had been thrown out by his comically dysfunctional undersea family for refusing to frighten people. The boys hide Sigmund in their clubhouse. Plotlines were very simple and straightforward, usually some variation on the idea of Sigmund doing something silly to arouse attention, and the boys working to prevent him from being found by Sigmund's brother monsters, Blurp (Bill Germaine, Larry Larsen) and Slurp (Fred Spencer, Paul Gale). The brothers also worked to hide Sigmund from their overbearing housekeeper Zelda (Mary Wickes), elderly neighbor Mrs. Eldels (Margaret Hamilton) and Sheriff Chuck Bevans (Joe Higgins). Zelda was the boys' housekeeper while their parents were away on vacation. Strangely, the parents were never seen on the show, nor did they return home by the end of the series. The episodes included songs as part of the plot development. The character(s), generally Johnny, would sing a song about what he was thinking or feeling about something going on in his life, from things that made him happy to anxiety about girls. While videotaping the first episode of Season Two, a hot light fell and started a fire. No one was injured, but the fire destroyed all of the sets and much of the costumes and other props. Most of Season Two was taped with minimal sets. Rip Taylor joined the cast as a magical 'Sea Genie' named Sheldon who lived inside a sea shell. Unfortunately, Sheldon was a bumbler, and his "whammy" spells seldom worked properly. Soon Sheldon's nephew, Shelby (Sparky Marcus), a small sea genie boy, joined in on the fun. Also in the second season, Zelda was replaced by a new housekeeper named Gertrude, played by Fran Ryan. Gertrude was a tough USMC drill instructor. The songs for the show were co-written by Danny Janssen, Bobby Hart and Wes Farrell. Sigmund and the Sea Monsters was the first Krofft Saturday morning production that was produced for a second season. Previous entries H.R. Pufnstuf (1969), The Bugaloos (1970), and Lidsville (1971) were only in production with new episodes for a single season. Sigmund, however, did not follow the "stranger in a strange land" premise as many of the previous Krofft shows had done. Three other Krofft shows which did not follow the premise were Bugaloos, Bigfoot and Wildboy and Wonderbug. Costumes were created by Oliver Soublette. One episode features an appearance by H.R. Pufnstuf and another that features Jack Wild (who had played Jimmy on H.R. Pufnstuf).
