How to make diseases disappear | Rangan Chatterjee | TEDxLiverpool

18:29
Can you actually make a disease disappear? Dr Rangan Chatterjee thinks you can. Often referred to as the doctor of the future, Rangan is changing the way that we look at illness and how medicine will be practised in years to come. He highlighted his methods in the groundbreaking BBC TV show, Doctor In The House, gaining him much acclaim from patients, his contemporaries and the media. He is the author of the international bestseller, The 4 Pillar Plan - http://amzn.to/2yGfpuB which has been released in the USA and Canada under the title, How to Make Disease Disappear - https://amzn.to/2GstJf6 Rangan’s 15 years of clinical experience in the NHS includes internal medicine, immunology and general practice. A pioneer in the emerging field of progressive medicine, he also uses techniques from other disciplines he has studied including movement kinetics and functional medicine. His own journey of learning was accelerated when family members fell ill and now Rangan is helping people to take control of their health by addressing the root causes of their illnesses, something which is often not achieved in 21st century health care, evidenced by a steady increase in the rates of chronic disease. Rangan is a super-generalist, looking at as many factors as possible which can create wellness or illness. His talk is testament to how our thinking around the concept of disease needs to change to help form a map for future healthcare. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

When we live with chronic illness, every day is full of surprises, and sometimes those surprises sideline our lives. Join our forum: http://chronicbabeclub.ning.com ------------------------- Transcript (rough): "But what if my feet hurt and I can’t wear cute shoes on my wedding day? But what if I don’t sell enough books to make a down payment for a new car? But what if? What if?" “What if?” can really haunt us. When we live with chronic illness, every day is full of surprises, and sometimes those surprises sideline our lives. It makes planning for our life ahead - in spite of chronic illness - very challenging. But I have a simple concept for you to consider today that I hope will help you get over the “what if” challenge and make plans anyway. Everyone Has “What Ifs” Here’s a revelation. You ready? Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - has “what ifs” in their lives. People with huge amounts of money have “what ifs.” People who are broke face “what ifs.” Folks who are perfectly healthy have “what ifs” that keep them up at night. We ChronicBabes are not alone with feeling “what if?” Over and over, I hear from women with illness who are afraid to plan, because they’re worried about “what if” this or that happens - and they consider it a trait of those with chronic illness. They often forget they’re not alone with this challenge. Remembering that everyone worries about what may or may not happen in life can help us stay calm, and find the courage to plan. Contingency Plans Rule So once we’ve gotten over ourselves and realized we are SO not alone with “what if?” it’s time to think carefully about the logistics of planning. Every good planner has a contingency plan - an alternate path to follow in case plan #1 falls through. I would love to own a house, for example. I love my home, a lot - I’m so thankful for it - but I also would love to not have upstairs neighbors, and I’d adore a garage, and a backyard for gardening… you get the picture. I thought this would happen a couple years ago, but life got in the way, mostly in the form of illness that kept me from earning what I wanted. So the house is on hold. And that’s OK. My contingency plan is to keep making my current home cozy and beautiful, and to keep saving as much as I can, and to practice appreciation for what I DO have. Another example: I’m traveling later this summer, and I sometimes get sick before or during vacations. I could easily let that “what if” creep into my brain and avoid travel, and I have in the past. But now I buy travel insurance - it’s my contingency plan. That way, if I have to cancel travel, I at least get my money back and it’s not a total loss. Sometimes having a contingency plan is enough to calm me down and open my mind to all the GOOD possibilities, which is a beautiful thing. These two examples are small-ish in nature, but you can apply the same principles to big decisions, like marriage, kids, moving, secondary education - don’t be afraid to think big! Just get that contingency plan in place. Don’t let “what ifs” keep you from pursuing your dreams. Thanks for watching today! Have you created contingency plans before? I’d love to know. Share your strategy in the comments here or head on over to the blog at ChronicBabe.com to join the conversation—I want to hear what YOU have to say. What is the best way to stay healthy? - PC Reddy in conversation with Sadhguru,

05:40
PC Reddy, founder of Apollo Hospitals asks Sadhguru what it takes to stay healthy. Sadhguru differentiates between the cause of infectious disease and chronic disease. Chronic ailments that are created from within the body can be easily fixed if we have access to the body's "manufacturer" within. Sadhguru Talks @ In Conversation with the Mystic, PC Reddy with Sadhguru, Hyderabad, Nov Full Transcript: Prathap Reddy: It’s so wonderful Sadhguruji; you know I know everyone in the beautiful auditorium here and there’re thousands of people who are watching live on the internet, they all want to know if there a prescription for good health (Laughs), spirituality, yoga meditation. But more importantly when your health took bad, no doctor and no medical dictionary or directory could ever detect it. So is there something else to stay well? I read in the book. Secret to Solve Chronic Conditions Part 2 of 2

48:15
http://www.fixmeup123.com/ tel:201-848-8000 CALL FOR A SAME DAY CONSULTATION & RELIEF CARE. PAIN RELIEF IS A PHONE CALL AWAY Most Insurance Plans Accepted Dear Stomach/Thyroid Sufferer, Some 20 million Americans are affected by thyroid disorders….that are 1 in 13 people! And more than half of those people are unaware they have a thyroid problem because it frequently goes undiagnosed….until it gets severe. Symptoms of Hypothyroidism Fatigue, tiredness, or sluggishness Cold feet and/or hands Require excessive amounts of sleep to function Gain weight easily Have difficult or infrequent bowel movements Depression Lack of motivation Morning headaches that wear off as the day progresses Thinning hair or excessive hair loss Dryness of the skin and/or scalp Mental sluggishness Symptoms of Hyperthyroidism Heart Palpitations Inward Trembling Increased Pulse (even at rest) Lose weight easily Difficulty gaining weight Nervous and Emotional Insomnia Night Sweats Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis is an autoimmune disorder in which the patient’s immune system attacks the thyroid. Patients that suffer from Hashimoto’s experience some or all of the above symptoms. Let’s talk about the thyroid gland a bit. The thyroid “runs” our metabolism. It is the “gas pedal” of the body. Thyroid hormones have a direct effect on most organs, including the heart, which beats faster and harder under the influence of increased thyroid hormones (this is why heart problems can often accompany chronic thyroid problems in women, and perhaps why heart problems are more common in women under the age of 50). T3 is the more biologically active hormone. It’s more important for cellular function, and in fact, 80% of T4 is converted to T3 in the body’s peripheral tissues. Basically, T4 is just a precursor for the more active hormone, T3. One of the problems in some thyroid disorders is that you may have trouble converting T4 to T3 in your tissues. Have you been checked for this? This can create a deficiency of T3, disrupting the body’s ability to properly regulate metabolism, which leads to specific symptoms. There are some clinicians that are treating thyroid conditions with iodine. I do not recommend iodine in the treatment of thyroid conditions. According to renowned thyroid expert Dr. Datis Kharriazian, author of the book “Why Do I Still Have Thyroid Symptoms?”, using iodine to treat thyroid conditions is like throwing gasoline on a fire. How Do We Successfully Treat Thyroid Patient Sufferers? By using specific metabolic and neurological protocols! #1: SPECIFIC METABOLIC TESTING AND TREATMENTS Sensitivity Testing: to determine if you have a sensitivity to gluten (wheat, rye, oats, and barley), milk, eggs, yeast, and soy. If you are sensitive to ANY of these food groups, it could be making your symptoms worse as it will increase inflammation in your brain and throughout your body! Here are some of the symptoms of these sensitivities: Chronic pain or fatigue Frequent indigestion Bloated after eating Frequent loose bowel movements Constipation Mouth ulcers or sores Vomit often The only way to find out if you are suffering from any of these sensitivities is to run these tests. We are one of the only clinics in Bergen County Midland Park, NJ to use a combined functional metabolic and neurological protocol that deals with the TRUE causes of Thyroid Disorders. Hundreds of our patients have been helped with our comprehensive approach to address chronic conditions. Among multiple drug free ways to address your symptoms that our doctors provide, we usually recommend a nutritional supplementation as an adjunct medical treatment. The nutritional supplementation recommended is designed to support overall health, your body function and well-being and not to treat or cure any medical illness, disease, or condition. CURED from Advanced Late-Stage CHRONIC LYME DISEASE and "The Lie Too Big To Admit"

18:45
NOW AVAILABLE: For the book "The Secret Gift - What They Don't Want You To Know About Lyme Disease" by author Stephen E. Amsden: https://www.amazon.com/Secret-Gift-What-About-Disease/dp/1601660499/#reader_1601660499 Despite the controversy over whether chronic Lyme disease exists, many have been cured with long-term antibiotic treatment. The medical community largely comprised of the CDC and the IDSA and their minions continue to deny this. Why? 1) It would be an admission that they are wrong; 2) it would expose their complicity in suppressing this information and expose them to legal action; 3) it protects large numbers of so-called "specialists" who are making enormous sums of money by keeping people sick through their deliberate attempts to deceive the Public. Once held as the "Great Imitator," we know now that this myth is giving way to the reality that chronic Lyme is actually the "Great Initiator" and the source of the many neurological and psychiatric illnesses such as RA, Lupus, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Fibromyalgia, ADD/ADHD, Bi-Polar disease, Manic Depression, Schizophrenia, ALS amongst many others. Meanwhile, as they continue to protect their own interests at the expense, suffering and misery of millions as, like the cancer industry, they remain firmly entrenched in their efforts to subvert the truth, promote mis-information, and create bogus research to mislead the public in order to protect themselves. The controversy is no longer about whether chronic Lyme exists - it is about why the CDC and the IDSA continue to subvert the truth about this tragic illness.

How to practice “stealth care” if you have chronic illness #AWAPwednesday

05:09
“Stealth care” is made up of all those tiny things you do throughout the day to make yourself feel better. They may not seem obvious to others, and you may not even think of them as self-care -- but they are essential to life as a ChronicBabe! Want to see more videos like this? Get the deets: http://www.chronicbabe.com/secretclub Want to meet more women with chronic illness? Join our forum: http://chronicbabeclub.ning.com ------------------------- Transcript (rough): (rifling through handbag) Let’s see, I’ve got my fan, my baby wipes, my meds, my phone charger, my… oh, hi there! I was just getting ready for a day of “stealth care.” Join me? Hi! I’m Jenni Grover Prokopy of ChronicBabe.com and today is AWAP Wednesday (that stands for As Well As Possible). Each week, I offer you my personal favorite tips and techniques to help you craft an incredible life beyond illness. Yes! I know you can. Subscribe to the ChronicBabe YouTube channel today to make sure you never miss another video, OK? Today’s video is a quickie, but an ESSENTIAL for all ChronicBabes. We’re talking about “stealth care,” a term my friend Cece and I came up with recently. “Stealth care” is our alternative term for self-care. I think we’re all bombarded with messages every day about self-care, and the overriding message - if you believe the advertising industry, anyway - is that self-care has to be big acts: An hour-long massage. A makeover. A new wardrobe refresher. A weekend getaway. But seriously, who has time for all that? I mean, if you do, more power to you! But I almost never have the time or money to do that kind of huge self-care action. So: “stealth care.” What is “Stealth Care?” “Stealth care” is made up of all those tiny things you do throughout the day to make yourself feel better. They may not seem obvious to others, and you may not even think of them as self-care. Here are a few examples from my life: I keep a lip balm in my purse, on my nightstand, in the living room, and in the kitchen, so I never have to get up to moisturize my kisser. (I take a bunch of meds that dry me out, so this is an issue for me.) Even during a hugely busy work day, I take a 2-minute break every 20 minutes to walk around and stretch my back and clear my head. An app on my computer freezes the keyboard, which means I can’t blow it off. I have a cute water bottle which incentivizes me to bring water with me wherever I go so I stay hydrated. If I’m feeling frazzled, I turn off phone notifications for an hour so I get a break. I keep some dark chocolate in my handbag in case I need a little treat. Get the picture? “Stealth care” is the habit you build of sneaking in little moments of self-care throughout the day, so you’re constantly caring for yourself. This is good for your physical health, and great for your spiritual well-being - you’re sending an unconscious message to your brain that YOU MATTER and are worth taking care of. * Get stealthy, babe. Sneak in self-care anywhere you can. * Thanks for watching today! Do you have a favorite stealth care practice? I’d love to know. Share your strategy in the comments here or head on over to the blog at ChronicBabe.com to join the conversation—I want to hear what YOU have to say. If you liked what you saw today, subscribe to our channel—and watch another one of my favorite videos right now. I think you’re gonna like it! Until we meet again, be AWAP! Smooches!

Secret to Solve Chronic Conditions FULL HD Version Paramus

PAIN RELIEF IS A PHONE CALL AWAY 201-848-8000 Most Insurance Plans Accepted My name is M. T. Shahab, M.D. We are a team of multidisciplinary doctors who will assess you individually and formulate a diagnostic and specific plan of care to help our patients based on our areas of expertise and discipline. Hundreds of our patients have been helped with our comprehensive approach to address chronic conditions. Among multiple drug free ways to address and help your symptoms, we usually recommend and provide nutritional supplementation which are designed to support overall health, your body function and well-being and not to treat or cure any medical illness, disease, or condition. 8 Reasons Why You Are Still Suffering With Symptoms of Your Thyroid, Chronic Fatigue, Sleep Difficulty, Low Libido, Memory Loss, Anxiety or depressive Condition: Do you wonder why, even though you are on thyroid or other medication, you still suffer with all of the symptoms of your thyroid condition? Or maybe initially you felt better on your thyroid medication until all the symptoms started to come back? Here are eight reasons why you are still suffering… The cause of your thyroid condition could be coming from your gut. Everybody knows about TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) “My doctor says my TSH is too high.” “My doctor said my TSH is too low.” TSH this and TSH that-but are you aware that in order for TSH to be released form the brain you need adequate amounts of two very important neurotransmitters Serotonin and Dopamine? And guess where these are made? The gut! So, bad gut= bad thyroid. The cause of your thyroid problem could be coming from your adrenal glands. These are your stress glands. When they are overtaxed they emit, in high amounts, a hormone called cortisol. High Cortisol is the arch-enemy to your thyroid function. The cause of your thyroid problem is a faulty immune system. The number one reason for under-active thyroid is a condition in which your immune system is mistakenly attacking the gland. This is called Hashimotos thyroiditis. It is estimated that 70-80% of thyroid patients have this but few know it because the doctor doesn’t check for it. Most doctors look at T4 as the main hormone when in actuality T3 is the active form of the hormone! Most doctors don’t even check for T3 on the blood work. Most hormone replacement medications like synthroid and levothyroxine are NOT T3 but are T4 and your doctor is assuming it gets converted to T3 in the body. This isn’t always the case. Estrogen dominance is something that almost all women suffer from for many reasons. When there is not enough progesterone in the body to balance your estrogen, your thyroid will not function properly. Doctors always follow lab ranges. Lab ranges are determined by who has been to the lab in the last year. What kind of people go to labs sick or healthy? Sick for the most part. When your doctor is making a determination on whether you have a problem or not he or she is comparing you to the average sick American. That’s crazy! We use functional ranges in which health exists. This is why so many are told they are OK when they really are not OK.

South Africa Episode 32 Hey Guys, Sorry I just realized the last upload was screwed up. I pre uploaded it before I hopped on a plane and didn't realise till the next day. Here is the proper copy. So, as you know I share both the ups and the downs of travel. Its not all glamous fun adventure, and its not east. especially for someone who is dealing with chronic pain. It;s a struggle every day, but I know this is what brings me joy and makes me thrive so I push through. Unforunately I got too eager and pushed too hard the first week and my body started to shut down. It's so important to listen to our bodies and rest when we need it. I clearly did not listen, and thus I paid big for it. Before the trip, I was told I had fibromyalgia. After my trip finished my health got so bad, so I decided to go to a docter. It was later discover that it was Chonirc lymes disease all along. ____________________________________________________________ FOLLOW ME HERE: -- INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/rosiegabrielle/ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/RosieGabrielle/ CONTACT ME 4 business [email protected] _________________________________________________________________ If you enjoy my videos and are entertained by them and would like to support me in any way so I can keep making these videos - Please visit my Patreon Page- https://www.patreon.com/user?u=6037443 Every dollar counts ! consider it a tip 🙂 Or if you would like to donate a one off gift of 1 $ or preferred amount (WITHOUT patreon taking a cut ) , you can transfer through paypal by sending it to [email protected] I'm forever grateful to anyone who helps continue to make my passion a reality ! Join our forum: http://chronicbabeclub.ning.com ------------------ Transcript ---------------- One question y’all send me over and over is: How do I look less frumpy? I get it. Many of us kind of live in PJs and sweat pants. But after a while, that’s a real drag - kind of boring and frumpy and bland. Who wants that kind of lifestyle? You can do better, babe. With a few simple steps, you can begin to rock your look - YOUR look! - and you’ll feel more put-together, more human, and more ready to conquer the world despite illness. Pin it You’re using Pinterest, right? Time to create a board where you gather inspiration for your look. Don’t get intimidated by how put-together people are, or how much things cost; at this point, you’re just compiling a visual map for your look. Get comfy Once you’ve honed in a little bit on your look, consider more comfortable alternatives to some of the things you like. For example, I love a stylish black pant, but some days, I don’t want to wear anything tight - it flares me up. So I found some beautifully comfy black workout pants, grabbed a size up so they’re really flowy and drapey, and those are my go-to bottoms on flare-up days. I can throw on a cute tunic or blouse with them and I feel pretty and put-together AND still mega-comfy. Accessorize Remember that even a plain black t-shirt can look fabulous with the right accessories. Look for “statement pieces” that are bold and fun. Wear a fun clip in your hair. Throw a scarf on and change the look altogether. Accessories can dress up the plainest wardrobe. Watch your budget If you’re building a new look for life, you may need to accumulate some stuff. Hit resale shops, consignment stores, and thrift stores for unique finds. It’s easy to head to Target or H&M for some fast fashion, but everyone else will be wearing that stuff too… vintage finds are always going to make you stand out. Crowdsource your look Finally, talk with friends about your fashion goals. They may have fun ideas, or items to borrow, or things they don’t want anymore. In fact, some of my favorite wardrobe pieces came from girl swaps organized by friends: We all get together, bring all the clothes, shoes, and accessories we don’t want anymore, and shop each other’s cast-offs. Whatever is left over goes to a charity shop. It’s a great way to grab some “new to you” stuff. Just because you need to prioritize comfort and work within a tiny budget doesn’t mean you have to look frumpy. If you feel like you need to spruce up your wardrobe, go for it! Thanks for watching today! Have you changed your look? How did you find a new style that worked for you? I’d love to know. Share your strategy in the comments here or head on over to the blog at ChronicBabe.com to join the conversation—I want to hear what YOU have to say. If you liked what you saw today, subscribe to our channel—and watch another one of my favorite videos right now. I think you’re gonna like it! Until we meet again, be AWAP! Smooches!

Secret to Solve Chronic Conditions Part 1 of 2

http://www.fixmeup123.com/ tel:201-848-8000 CALL FOR A SAME DAY CONSULTATION & RELIEF CARE.
