SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Magic Quadrant (MQ) refers to a series published by IT consulting firm Gartner of market research reports that rely on proprietary qualitative data analysis methods to demonstrate market trends, such as direction, maturity and participants. Their analyses are conducted for several specific technology industries and are updated every 1–2 years. Gartner rates vendors upon two criteria: completeness of vision and ability to execute. Using a methodology which Gartner does not disclose, these component scores lead to a vendor position in one of four quadrants: 1. Leaders - Vendors in the Leaders quadrant have the highest composite scores for their Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. A vendor in the Leaders quadrant has the market share, credibility, and marketing & sales capabilities needed to drive the acceptance of new technologies. These vendors demonstrate a clear understanding of market needs, they are innovators and thought leaders, and they have well-articulated plans that customers and prospects can use when designing their infrastructures and strategies. In addition, they have a presence in the five major geographical regions, consistent financial performance, and broad platform support. 2. Challengers - A vendor in the Challengers quadrant participates in the market and executes well enough to be a serious threat to vendors in the Leaders quadrant. They have strong products, as well as sufficiently credible market position and resources to sustain continued growth. Financial viability is not an issue for vendors in the Challengers quadrant, but they lack the size and influence of vendors in the Leaders quadrant. 3. Visionaries - A vendor in the Visionaries quadrant delivers innovative products that address operationally or financially important end-user problems at a broad scale, but has not yet demonstrated the ability to capture market share or sustainable profitability. Visionary vendors are frequently privately held companies and acquisition targets for larger, established companies. The likelihood of acquisition often reduces the risks associated with installing their systems. 4. Niche Players - Vendors in the Niche Players quadrant are often narrowly focused on specific market or vertical segments. This quadrant may also include vendors that are adapting their existing products to enter the market under consideration, or larger vendors having difficulty developing and executing on their vision. It has been pointed out that the criteria for the Magic Quadrant cater more towards investors and large vendors than towards buyers. Much of the criticism is focused on the lack of disclosure of the money received from the vendors it rates, raising conflict of interest issues. Also a source of criticism is the lack of disclosure on the vendor's component scores and the lack of transparency in Gartner's methodology used to derive the vendor's position on the MQ map. The Magic Quadrant, and analysts in general, also skew the market: according to research conducted by a Scottish lecturer, by applying their methodologies to describe a market, they change that marketplace to fit their tools. Another criticism is that open source vendors are not considered sufficiently by analysts like Gartner, as has been published in an unusual online discussion between a VP from Talend and a German Research VP from Gartner. Gartner was the target of a federal lawsuit (filed May 29, 2009) from software vendor, ZL Technologies, challenging the “legitimacy” of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant rating system. Gartner filed a motion to dismiss by claiming First Amendment protection since it contends that its MQ reports contain "pure opinion," which legally means opinions which are not based on fact. The court threw out the ZL case because it lacked a specific complaint. That decision was upheld on appeal.

He is an entrepreneur, investor, motivational speaker, author and also a financial knowledge activist. He is very popular for his series of books called ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’. Kiyosaki is a Japanese American who was born in Hilo, Hawaii. He went to the U.S Merchant Marine Academy soon after graduating from Hilo High School. He graduated from the academy as a deck officer in 1969 and was honored with the Air Medal when he served in the Vietnam War as a gunship pilot. In 1975 Kiyosaki left the Marine Corps and worked as a Xerox machine salesperson. Three years later he started his own company that sold Velcro surfer wallets. The company did well for some time but unfortunately went bankrupt. In the beginning of the 1980s Kiyosaki tried his luck in a business that certified Heavy metal rock band T-shirts. He sold this business in 1985. Nearly a decade later after struggling to achieve success Kiyosaki decided to retire at the age of 47. However he rose once again in 1997 when he established Cashflow Technologies, Inc. This company incorporates and runs two of his brands namely, Rich Dad and Cashflow. Apart from running Rich Dad and Cashflow Technologies Inc. Kiyosaki has also invested in several other business ventures. In 2002 he purchased a silver mine in South America and took a gold mine public in China. In his book ‘Conspiracy of the Rich’ he has mentioned that he intends to take a copper mine public as soon as the copper price and value will increase. Even as a teenager Robert Kiyosaki worked with gold and silver coins. He has a theory that with a few dollars you can buy precious metal coins and that will actually get you ready for the ‘biggest crashes in world history’. He calls himself a ‘gold bug’ because he has several commodities like silver and gold so he can save himself from any losses against the misprinting of the U.S dollar. Kiyosaki is also a real estate investor. He spends a lot of his money on these investments and has many real estate development ventures. He has various property management projects running throughout America. His assets include big apartment complexes, hotels and golf courses as he revealed in The Alex Jones Show in 2010. He is also the head and investor of oil drilling operations as well as oil wells and even a startup solar company. However he suffered a loss with his company Rich Global LLC that announced bankruptcy in August 2012. His book series ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ is an international bestseller. It is basically a comparison between his two ‘dads’; one was his poor biological father and the other ‘fictitious’ rich dad. The poor father was in fact very educated but had no money but the rich father was a high school dropout but was in fact ‘Hawaii’s richest man’. Robert Kiyosaki has appeared on television several times including on Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), KOCE, California, WLIW of New York and New Jersey area and his fund raising drive. It is a comprehensive marketing solution which enables marketers to measure, personalize and optimize marketing campaigns and digital experiences for optimal marketing performance. Adobe Marketing Cloud includes a set of analytics, social, advertising, media optimization, targeting, Web experience management and content management products aimed at the advertising industry and hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like other Adobe Cloud services (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud), the Adobe Marketing Cloud allows users with valid subscriptions to download the entire collection and use it directly on their computers with open access to online updates. The Adobe Marketing Cloud collection was introduced to the public in October 2012 as Adobe began retiring the Omniture name it acquired in October 2009. Products of the defunct company were then integrated step by step into the new Cloud service which includes the following eight applications: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Social, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe Campaign, Audience Manager and Primetime. On September 15, 2009, Omniture, Inc. and Adobe Systems announced that Adobe would be acquiring Omniture, an online marketing and web analytics business unit in Orem, Utah. The deal of $1.8 billion, was completed on October 23, 2009, and is now joined by other Adobe acquisitions such as Day Software and Efficient Frontier, as the main components of Adobe's Digital Marketing Business Unit. Around 2012, Adobe withdrew the Omniture brand while its products were being integrated into the Adobe Marketing Cloud. Adobe Marketing Cloud as a subscription model has made significant progress in terms of acceptance in the business world. In 2013, Gartner, an information technology research and advisory company, ranked the Adobe's solutions execution ability at the highest position on its Magic Quadrant for Web content management. This distinction is in line with the evolution of its preceding Cloud-based model suite Adobe Creative Cloud which met significant criticism in the beginning.
