Oracle Managed File Transfer (Oracle MFT) enables secure file exchange and management with internal departments and external partners. It protects against inadvertent access to unsecured files at every step in the end-to-end transfer of files. It is easy to use especially for non technical staff so you can leverage more resources to manage the transfer of files. The extensive reporting capabilities allow you to get quick status of a file transfer and resubmit it as required. You can protect data in your DMZ by using the SSH/FTP reverse proxy. Partner Webcast – Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT) with SOA 12c Integration

57:11
File processing has matured a lot in the recent years. Even though real-time processing is dominant in many integration patterns, fully integrated file transfer solutions are a core requirement in the new and hybrid world of cloud and on-premise enterprise. Cloud integrations are expected to increase the demand for file-based integrations even more. Built- in functionality for security, encryption, and global visibility have long been core Managed File Transfer requirements. Organizations still make heavy use of files utilizing bulk, batch, and real-time updates for application integration. As cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) is introduced in the IT landscape, file integrations simply increase in both size and volume. Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT), a component that is tightly integrated with Oracle SOA Suite, enables secure file exchange and management with internal departments and external partners. Oracle Managed Files

11:12
Oracle Managed Files (OMF) OMF simplifies the creation of databases as Oracle does all OS operations and file naming. It has several advantages including: * Automatic cleanup of the filesystem when database objects are dropped. * Standardized naming of database files. * Increased portability since file specifications are not needed. * Simplified creation of test systems on differing operating systems. * No unused files wasting disk space. The location of database files is defined using the DB_CREATE_FILE_DEST parameter. If it is defined on its own all files are placed in the same location. If the DB_CREATE_ONLINE_LOG_DEST_n parameter is defined alternate locations and levels of multiplexing can be defined for Logfiles. These parameters are dymanic and can be changed using the ALTER SYSTEM statement. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=675154272533058&set=vb.244092622305894&type=2&theater&notif_t=video_comment

Project Workflows - GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer Video Tour

03:03
You can create "Projects" in GoAnywhere MFT to define the file transfers and business processes to perform. A Project can contain multiple steps (called tasks) to execute as a seamless end-to-end workflow. For instance, a Project may include a task to retrieve data from a database server, a second task to convert the data into an Excel document, a third task to encrypt the document, and finally a task to distribute the encrypted document to an SFTP server. There are no limits to the number of tasks that can be performed within a single Project. Projects are designed using intuitive wizards and templates with the GoAnywhere MFT browser-based interface. No programming or special technical skills are needed. The Project definitions are stored in a central database, which can be scheduled and executed by authorized users and applications. https://www.goanywhere.com

Wizuda Managed File Transfer (MFT)

Bespoke data transfer tools and scripts require specialised IT skills to create, test and support. Data transfers can be as simple as moving files from A to B in one step but are often more complex, needing to be transferred to multiple servers both internal and external in near to real-time. Bespoke tools and scripts can or may be written in multiple languages and target a variety of platforms. As the volume of these tools and scripts grow, they become more difficult to manage, and resolving errors can take up a significant amount of IT resource which could otherwise be spent on higher priority projects. In addition to this, there is often a risk of single points of failure when IT resources leave the organisation. Limited visibility of all transfers means failure points can go undetected until a significant costly issue arises. Using scripts makes it difficult for businesses to get a holistic view of their data flows. Scripts by their very nature have a lack of integrated change control and versioning and more worryingly credentials are typically stored in plain text. Also it is difficult to enforce security and encryption standards causing issues for businesses from an audit and compliance perspective. Wizuda's Managed File Transfer can take these headaches away and provide an automated solution to manage your file and data transfer needs. Wizuda’s easy to use interface makes configuring data transfers easier than ever before. Guaranteed Delivery with auto-resume and recovery offers ultimate peace of mind. Our automated health check and monitoring with alarms and alerts means you will be notified of potential issues as they occur. Interactive Maps provide enterprise-wide visibility of your internal and external data transfers. Authorisation Workflows ensure transfers are only activated once they have received the appropriate authorisation. Full audit trail reporting provides complete details of every transfer and configuration change. High availability and load balancing automatically splits loads between multiple servers and relocates transfers to other servers in the event of an outage. Wizuda provides you with one central hub for the control, authorisation and transfer of all internal and external data flows removing your reliance on bespoke transfer tools and in-house scripts. How to configure Ubuntu server for Managed File Transfer (MFT) with SQL for IM&P 11.5

15:03
In this video, I'll show you how to configure an Ubuntu server for MFT (Managed File Transfer), I'll use MS SQL 2014 and IM&P 11.5 Compatibility with MS SQL 2014 is only available on IM&P 11.5 and above. You may also use any of the other options for DB that are available, PostgreSQL or Oracle, depending on your IM&P version. The Ubuntu server config would work the same for previous IM&P releases that support MFT, and with any other DB option. I'm using Ubuntu server as I like that Linux distribution, but you can use any other OS which meets the requirements: The file server must support an ext4 file system, SSHv2, and SSH tools. The file server must support OpenSSH 4.9 or later. Due to the fact there are many other Linux distributions that meet the requirements, I created the video to provide guidance on what to configure, and how to configure, however, the location of configuration files, the content of the files, and some of the commands might be different on your distribution. I will not cover how to install Ubuntu server, it's just a matter of following the wizard as any other OS. There are plenty of references on how to install Ubuntu on the web, and videos on YouTube. Do make sure to install an Ubuntu server, and not a desktop (they're different Ubuntu distributions). The relevant documentation is here: Make sure to review the relationship between nodes and DBs, depending on the feature. If you still have doubts about the procedure, if you meet the entitlement, you can reach us, the PDI Technical Advisors team, at http://www.cisco.com/go/pdita In the above page, you can find our entitlement requirements, working hours, and how to open a case. I also encourage you to review my FAQ before opening a case, I cover a lot of products in it: http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Unified_Communications_FAQ Any questions, comment, etc. you can reach me at [email protected]
