Recipes for Matar Paneer, Red Chori + Aubergine & Potato Curry by Master Cook at Bobby's Restaurant.

17:58
✓ On our previous visit to Leicester (for the Leicester Mela) we were more than a little disappointed to find that Bobby's Restaurant were temporarily closed for full a refit, the good is that they have now since reopened with a great new look, the place has been completely transformed by way of a georgeous new interior refit. Bobby's is one of Leicester's "Golden Mile" restaurant's that seems to have "always been there" and it turns out to be that "they always been there" because they have been here since 1976......they must be doing something right to be going strong after an incredible 43 years, so it's very much long overdue that we finally paid them a visit. They specialise in serving up authentic Gujarati home cooked style pure vegetarian cuisine. Anyway back to the video, in this video we are privilaged to visit "behind the scenes" in the kitchen where Master Cook & Chef Dipak kindly shows and reveals some the recipe secrets of how he makes his versions of some classic Gujarati dishes. MATAR PANEER RECIPE INGREDIENTS (Jain recipe - no onion and no garlic): * Vegetable Oil (Tel) * Bay Leaf * Black Cardamom (Badi Elaichi) * Green Cardamom (Elaichi) * Clove (Laving) * Cinnamon (Dalchini) * Whole Cumin Seeds (Jeera) * Dried Fenugreen Leaves (Kastoori Methi) * Ginger (Adrak) * Peeled Tomato blended ( Tamata) * Turmeric (Haldi) * Cumin Powder * Coriander Powder (Dhana) * Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirchu) * Salt (Namak) * Green Peas (Matter) * Fried Paneer pieces * Cashewnut paste (Cashews & Water grinded) * Water (Pani) * Fresh Cream (Makkhan) GUJARATI RED CHORI RECIPE (Red Lobia / Adzuki Beans): * Vegetable Oil * Cinnamon Sticks (Taj) * Clove (Laving) * Mustard Seeds (Rye) * Whole Cumin Seeds * Chickpea Flour (Besan) * Ginger * Kastoori Methi * Peeled Tomato (blended to a puree) * Turmeric * Cumin Powder * Coriander Powder * Salt * Red Chilli Powder * Water * Adzuki Bean (Red Chori) pre-boiled AUBERGINE AND POTATO CURRY (Ringan & Bateta) Brinjal/Egg Plant: * Mustard Seeds * Fenugreek Seeds * Cinnamon Sticks * Cumin Seeds * Ginger * Kastoori Methi * Augergine * Potatoes (Bateta) pre-boiled * Turmeric * Water * Peeled Tomato pureed * Cumin Powder * Coriander Powder * Garam Masala * Red Chilli Powder * Garnished with Chopped Fresh Green Coriander (Lila Dhana) GUJARATI DAL (Gravy for Rice): * Water * Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal / Tuver Dar) * Ginger * Turmeric * Cumin Powder * Coriander Powder * Garam Masala * Peeled Tomato blended * Salt * Lemon Juice (Limbu) * Green Chilli paste (Lilu Mirchu) * Chopped Green Coriander Vegetable Oil tempered with: * Kokum * Cinnamon Sticks * Clove * Raw Peanuts (Dana) * Cumin Seeds * Dried Red Chillies (Sukha Lal Mircha) * Mustard Seeds * Fenugreek Seeds (Methi) * Jaggery (Gor) This is Desi Indian Food at it's very best but at affordable street food prices. There is also now a dedicated chaat counter with lots of "Indian Street Eat" items on the menu that we didn't have a chance to try.........so we can't wait to pay a return visit to taste what we've missed this time around, wink wink!!! ;-) Here's links to their various social media pages: Twitter: @bobbysleicester Facebook:@www.eatatbobbys.co Instagram: ???????????? A very special thank you Chef Dipakbhai, Dharmesh, Enna and to all of the Bobbys team who very much welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their vegetarian restaurant kitchen to do the videoing. Here's a link to a video we recorded of them at the Leicester Mela: https://youtu.be/eNeWQFCj-p8 + here's a link to a video we recorded (almost 6 years ago at the beginning of our vlogging journey) of their pre-refit shop on Belgrave Road: https://youtu.be/seb9ig17bQ8 Address: 154 to 156 Belgrave Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE4 5AT If you have any questions; such as regarding their opening times etc... you can telephone them on: 0116 266 0106 or 0116 266 2448 Bobby's is one of Leicester's Golden Mile's "not so Secret Desi food places" (the Golden Mile stretches from Belgrave Road all the way up to Melton Road) call it Leicester's "little India" if you wish. This is another video from our recent week long foodie "pilgrimage" visit we made to Leicester (in Oct 2018) especially to record some of the most famous and popular food places there (some established many decades ago when East African Asians arrived in the UK having fled the Idi Amin regime) some of the East Africa Asians settled in the streets in and around the Belgrave road and Melton Road area (a stretch of road affectionately known as the " Golden Mile"). Most if not all of the restaurants here are very homely and welcoming and it really does not feel like you are eating in an unfamiliar café or restaurant but more like eating at a friend or relatives place. (This video was recorded on Tuesday 9th October 2018)

FILM DESCRIPTION: Controversial rap star Eminem makes his acting debut in this hard-edged urban drama, inspired in part by incidents from the musician's own life. Jimmy Smith (Eminem), known to his friends as Rabbit, is a young man trying to make his way out of the burned-out shell of inner-city Detroit. Rabbit's entire life has been a hard climb, and it certainly hasn't gotten any easier lately; Rabbit has just been dumped by his girlfriend, forcing him to move back in with his emotionally unstable mother, Stephanie (Kim Basinger), and he's getting along especially poorly with Stephanie's new boyfriend. Rabbit has a factory job that's tough, demeaning, and doesn't pay especially well, and he's convinced his skills as a rapper are his only real hope at a better life. Rabbit makes music with a crew of DJ's and MC's who call themselves Three One Third, among them his close friend Future (Mekhi Phifer), but his status as a white kid making music in a predominantly African-American community and culture is extremely intimidating, and after Rabbit freezes up in the midst of an MC battle, he's convinced he's missed his chance and that he's doomed to lead a marginal life as a factory rat for the rest of his days. With the help of his friends, and his new girlfriend Alex (Brittany Murphy), Rabbit struggles to work up the courage and the confidence to take one more shot at making his dream a reality. 8 Mile was shot on location in Detroit; the name refers to 8 Mile Road, a thoroughfare along the city's perimeter which effectively separates the middle-class suburban neighborhoods from the lower-class inner-city. Terroir Tapas on Southbourne Grove. One of the most interesting bars and restaurants in Bournemouth.

02:20
Modern small plates eating with sustainability in mind as a restaurant. A definite foodie destination and Instagrammable setting in Bournemouth. You just need to ask your server all about the food and drink, as there will be a story behind it all. Very little goes to waste. I have to admit this is one of my favourite places to go and relax in Southbourne as I can go in for a quick drink or even just one dish from the menu, or have much more, or spread the eating throughout the night. I generally start off with an Ashtray Martini, which is so called due to a TripAdvisor review. I always ask for that in homage. If you like a Dry Martini, then ask Dave for that by name, he'll appreciate it. Their wines are always interesting and if you have not tried Orange Wines before, they are a bit different and something to try just before eating. This is the brainchild of James Fowler, who started The Larder House just up the road. Love the fact that he expanded along the high street breathing life along the stretch of road. Don't forget to mention #sobomile you do visit Terroir Tapas because of the videos here. It helps the community know what works when it comes to promotion. Take a selfie and use the hashtag please.

Chicken Parm in Pizza Form is Italian Food Nirvana — The Process

00:59
For anyone who has ever looked at a plate of chicken parmesan and thought, "I wish I could eat this with my hands," one New York City restaurant has created a solution. Quality Italian, a steakhouse from the Quality Branded restaurant group (alongside the likes of Quality Eats and Smith & Wollensky), offers a dish at dinner called the "Quality Parm-Pizza for Two," which reimagines the Italian classic into a serious party food. Spiced ground chicken is molded to form the crust of the pie, then breaded and fried to a glistening golden brown. Sauce, cheese, and fresh basil complete the pizza, which is sliced into hand-holdable wedges. (Thought no one would criticize you if you went the fork and knife route instead — it's chicken parm, after all!) Watch the video above to see how the dish is made, from start to cheesy, meaty finish. Chef’s Night Out: La Leche

10:21
Chef Alfonso Cadena is basically a genius. On a normal day, he works at his amazing restaurant, La Leche, in Puerto Vallarta—one of Mexico's most beautiful beach cities—and when he's done with work, he goes up to the second-floor bar and has some drinks with his friends. When he's totally wasted, he hops on a small stage on one side of the restaurant and plays music with his band for some of his diehard foodies, and finally, when he's tired, he goes out to the parking lot, has a burrito in==from one of his food trucks, and calls it a night. We wanted to try some of that Mexican beach lifestyle with him for this week's Chef's Night Out and all we can say is: genius. Fucking genius. Table Manners - Ultimate How-To Guide To Proper Dining Etiquette For Adults & Children

18:36
The Importance of Learning Proper Table Manners -https://gentl.mn/2F5VSaJ To learn even more about etiquette click here: https://gentl.mn/2EjQMvx SHOP THE VIDEO: 1. Madder Print Silk Tie in Yellow with Red, Blue, and Orange Diamond Pattern - https://gentl.mn/2F7aAyh 2. Wine Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange Silk Wool Medallion Pocket Square - https://gentl.mn/2F4xFS0 3. Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks Light Brown and Blue - https://gentl.mn/2F6TeRR #tablemanners #diningetiquette #notsponsored Table manners are actually something your parents taught you but are actually far more important as an adult. First of all, your table manners speak volumes about your refinement and it's often interpreted as a sign of character. It's not at all about being snobby or showing off but much rather show respect, your host and your dining partners will greatly appreciate your manners. It's very important to keep in mind, proper table manners aways help you and never hurt you. The good thing is they can be learned and its never too late to do so. So what are table manners? I suggest you turn your cell phone ringer off when you enter someone else's home and put your phone in your pocket when you're with the guests. Don't leave your phone on the table because you are much more likely to pick it up and look at it which is impolite In the presence of other people. If the table is all set, you don't just walk in and sit down. Wait to be seated or wait for the queue of the host, or if they sit, you can sit as well. Ideally, want to sit up straight but comfortably, don't slouch, or cross your arms, or sit as you would on your couch while watching a football game. Don't expect to sit next to your partner and follow the lead of the hosts. Traditionally, couples were always mixed up to sit with different people. If there's a napkin on the plate or next to a plate, put it on your lap right away. If the host or hostess wants to say grace, accept the gesture for what it is and move along. Two, let's take a look at the place setting. In the Western world, an informal place will always have at least a plate, a knife, and a fork. If dessert will be served, you'll find either a little fork or a spoon on the top side of the plate. If soup is served or anything else that requires a spoon, you will also have a spoon. On the top right of the plate, you'll likely find a water glass which is always filled and a wine glass which is empty, to begin with. Sometimes you also find beer glasses; if you prefer that, if that's what's served with a meal. If you see little plate with an extra knife on a top left to your plate, that's for bread and butter. When you're done with the course, you place the fork and a knife at a four to five o'clock angle that means you're done. Three, now it's time to serve the food. Most informal dinners are family-style meaning there are bowls or platters where food is served from. For formal dinners, courses are usually plated but we talk about the intricacies of that in our formal dining etiquette video here. With bowls and anything at the table, the cardinal rule is, don't reach over anybody else and don't touch them. To start, pass the bowl around the table from the left to the right when you get the bowl you hold it and you serve yourself then you pass it on to your neighbor on the right. Always use the serving utensils and never your silverware that's on your place setting. Of course, if the host or hostess has a different idea, go with what they do. Four, finally it's time to eat. You should only start eating when everyone else has been served and a host or hostess starts to take their fork and take the lead. It is very impolite and sometimes even rude to just dig into your plate of food while the others are still empty-handed. #tablemanners #diningetiquette #notsponsored --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? How to Make a Cappuccino | Perfect Coffee

02:39
Watch more How to Make the Best Coffee videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/494729-How-to-Make-a-Cappuccino-Perfect-Coffee My name is Mike Jones, and I'm a barista at Third Rail Coffee right by Washington Square Park in New York City. I'm going to teach you some basic coffee-making skills. I'm gonna show you how to make a cappuccino. A cappuccino is traditionally between five and six ounces. You have your shot of espresso, some milk, and then foam on top. Usually it's gonna be in thirds, which is two ounces of espresso, two ounces of milk, two ounces of foam, but somewhere around there is good. Officially, they say between one and two centimeters of foam on top, but there are many different interpretations. So, let's start off by pulling the shot, steaming the milk, and then pouring it. OK, so we have our espresso, we have our milk. Since I've let more air into the milk on this cappuccino we can do a little bit extra texturing, which is just swirling it around. You can give it some side to side shakes to incorporate the foam into the center. Sometimes if you've added just a little bit too much, you can pour about an ounce off the top. All right, now just pour and that is a delicious looking cappuccino.

At £2.50 is this the Cheapest Freshly made Falafel Naan Wrap in London? Middle Eastern Street Food.

Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mr07623445678/ ✓ It doesn't get any better (or cheaper) than this. We absolutely love down to earth, honest places like this.........can you believe that for only £2.50 we were given a wrap comprising of a freshly prepared garlic butter naan bread, which was then filled with 4 pieces of freshly fried crispy falafel balls, sitting on top of a freshly cut salad of Tomato and Lettuce and then given a generous drizzle of Chilli and Tahini (Tahina) sauces. Honestly you tell me, where else can you dine out and feed a family of four for just £10:00??? with such freshly made food. This is delicious restaurant quality vegetarian cuisine served at street food prices. Kurdistan / Iraqi Falafal & Nan bread Watching the naan being made you can see that it's a very similar technique & method to the way Indian Tandoor Naan bread is made. Fresh Nan Bakery is at 143 High Street, approximately around about the midway point of the world famous one mile long Walthamstow Market, London. The MOST INSANE Street Food in Thailand!

17:13
Most unbelievable Thai street food in Bangkok! ►Watch GIANT Tom Yum: https://youtu.be/4eZbr5qDxio ►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Talad Rot Fai (ตลาดนัดรถไฟ), also known as the Train night market in Bangkok, or Talad Rot Fai in Thai, is one of the most popular night markets in Bangkok - this branch located at Ratchada. Here’s a map link: https://goo.gl/maps/EVKBg2ws46t By the way, this is Part 2 of this Night Market Thai street food tour. You can watch the gigantic tom yum challenge here: https://youtu.be/4eZbr5qDxio The market is known for its unique Thai street food, some of the snacks and dishes which are invented there and you won’t find anywhere else in Bangkok. Laeng Saeb (เล้งแซ่บ) at Diaw Maekhlong Restaurant (ร้านเตี๋ยวแม่กลอง) - Laeng saeb, a dish of pork bones and ridiculous amounts of green chilies is one of the most popular Thai street food inventions at Talad Rot Fai, and this is mainly what I came to eat. The restaurant is located at the back of the market, and they have a few different sizes you can choose from. XXL Laeng Saeb (เล้งแซ่บ) - Price - 599 THB ($18.96) - We went straight for the XXL size, a massive platter of pork bones, soup, insane amounts of green chilies and the soup broth. Of all the Thai street food I’ve eaten, this is one of the most unbelievable and insanely giant street foods of Thailand I’ve ever seen or eaten. Although it’s way more than I ever care to eat again in one sitting, it’s actually a really good dish. Crispy butter (เนยกรอบ) - 35 THB ($1.11) Stir fried ice cream (ไอติมผัด) - 69 THB ($2.18) Coconut shake (น้ำมะพร้าวปั่น) - 35 THB ($1.11) And that completed this Thai street food night market tour of Talad Rot Fai. It’s well worth a visit, and you can of course, order smaller sizes of laeng saeb when you’re in Bangkok. Enjoy! Kauai Travel Tips: 9 Things to Know Before You Go

11:07
Things you NEED to know BEFORE you travel to Kauai Hawaii. Kauai is the oldest and smallest of the four main the Hawaiian Islands. It has a population of just 70,000 people. Elevation ranges from sea level to just over 5,000 feet. Kauai is home to the world's wettest location, Waialeale, which receives over 450 inches of rain annually - that's almost 40 feet! All that rain means lots of waterfalls Only three percent of Kauai has been developed. It’s called the “Garden Isle” but it’s very country. You won’t find big cities or a lot of people on Kauai. You’ll find plenty of lush jungly wilderness to be explored though (we’re talking scenes straight out of Jurassic Park). Lots of microclimates: You can go from the wettest place on Earth to a near-desert in 20 minutes And a TON of chickens. There are more wild chickens on Kauai than any other Hawaiian Island largely thanks to “Iniki,” a category 5 hurricane, which hit the island in 1992. The north shore is the lushest and prettiest of the island. It’s also the rainiest. (Princeville) South side is the sunniest with good swimmable beaches, (Poipu) East Shore has the Airport (Lihue) West Shore relatively Un Developed (Na Pali Coast) 2 - Weather: Temperatures range from the lower 50's in Kokee State Park to the upper 80's along the South shore. Kauai is considered to be semi-tropical and is home to a variety of micro-climates depending on your location around the island. In some places you'll need a light jacket, while in others a bathing suit is more than enough. It is also very common to be in rain one minute on Kauai, and in full sun the next. Quite Windy -- 15-25 MPH Winds 3- Beaches: Many of Kauai’s beaches aren’t swimmable. dangerous currents, rip tides, and hammering surf. conditions everywhere will be calmer in the summer months On the north shore, big surf in winter but is calm in summer Hanalei Bay -- 2 mile crescent bay (good in summer) On the east coast, there’s a nice lagoon at Lydgate beach. Kalapaki beach in Lihue - nice local beach South Shore swimming is good at Poipu beach South Shore gets its waves in summer 4- Hotels: Everything is more expensive in the resort areas. St Regis Princeville (swankiest resort area) Grand Hyatt and Sheraton in Poipu Marriott by the Airport in Lihue 5- Transportation: Get a rental car -- it’ll probably be banged up You’ll find the cheapest gas in Lihue/Kapa’a. It can take forever to get around. One road around the island (almost) 2-3 hours from one end to the other Be aware of driving times when planning outings. congestion around Lihue and Kapa’a during morning and evening commute times. One lane bridge (North Shore): The local custom is to let 5-7 cars go at a time. 6- Shopping: Costco in Lihue near the airport as well as a Safeway grocery store chain. And if you need a pharmacy/drug store, that would be Longs 4 ABC Stores 7- Food: Casual Attire is OK pretty much anywhere. Shorts and flip-flips are where it’s at. If you want to be really dressy, an Aloha shirt and Khakis. Lots of places are just “take out” -- eat picnic style Many places are breakfast and lunch only and close at 1:30 or 3pm. The big resorts have fancy restaurants, and prices to go along with it Duke’s restaurant at Kalapaki -- get the famous Hula Pie! Eat where the locals eat, plate lunches, Asian Food 8- Big Attractions 9 - Hiking: Pack water shoes for hiking. Many of the trails on Kauai are muddy or will require you to cross streams. It’s much easier if you do not have to worry about keeping your hiking boots clean and dry. Bring a map. Mexico has one of the richest, most diverse food traditions of any country in the world. From north to south, east to west, you can find an infinite variety of delicious plates on your table. Even with this in mind, Toluca City—two hours away from Mexico City—is not exactly the first place you think about when you think of Mexico's food culture, but that's likely about to change. Chef Pablo Salas was born in Toluca, and is one of the first chefs to put the city's gastronomic style on the map, earning his restaurant Amaranta acclaim as one of the top five restaurants in Mexico. Las Vegas Henderson Restaurant Cooking Osso Bucco

05:13
Just one mile north of Anthem Country Club this Las Vegas Locals neighborhood restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere and food cooked by a Chef with 20 years experience. Although it's officially a Martini Bar the food is fabulous. The Osso Bucco meat falls right off the bone and the saffron risotto is perfectly cooked with a sprinkle of parmesan. If you live in Henderson this could be one of the best meals in your area and if you live out of the area, this Las Vegas Dining experience is worth driving for 15 minutes. For directions and details go to the website listed above.
