Despite the United Nation's eventual intervention, most of Liberia's young people continue to live in abject poverty, surrounded by filth, drug addiction, and teenage prostitution. The former child soldiers who were forced into war have been left to fend for themselves, the murderous warlords who once led them in cannibalistic rampages have taken up as so-called community leaders, and new militias are lying in wait for the opportunity to reclaim their country from a government they rightly mistrust. Man Predicting The Future in 1945 100% True

03:34
We were recently sent this audio file, which was a portion of a British radio show from the year 1945. The announcer makes predictions for the next hundred years. He says that in 2045, we will be able to look back to see if such predictions are true. Currently being in the year 2018, we can see that many of his predictions have already come true. Some people say that the only way this man could know so much about the future, is that he or someone he knew was an actual time traveler. What do you think? AG Music http://bit.ly/COAGMusic Transcript from man predicting the future: Hello ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to the program. Today we are going to talk about a rather serious topic. The future. What does the future hold? Today we are going to make some predictions. Maybe someday, man will look back on such predictions. The year, as you know, is 1945. 100 years from now, it will be 2045. It is difficult to imagine the state of the world in 100 years. As we have seen before, the world has changed drastically in the past 100 years. Just 100 years ago, in the year 1845, the concept of self-powered flying machines seemed as ridiculous an idea as ever to many. Through this great industrial revolution, the world has seen more change than ever before. Keep this in mind, as we go over our predictions for the next 100 years. In 100 years, I predict that man will have stepped foot on other celestial bodies, such as the moon and the planet Mars. In 100 years, I predict that the average man will get his news and entertainment from a variety of sources. Big companies will no longer have a monopoly on the news and entertainment people enjoy. I predict that in 100 years, cars will no longer be constrained to the ground. They will have the ability to fly in the air at will. And the energy that powers the cars will come from the sun. In 100 years, I predict that television sets will get increasingly smaller. I predict television sets will shrink to the point in which they can fit on our wristwatches. I think that in 100 years, there will be film cameras at every street corner. They will be put in place in the name of safety, but our freedoms will increasingly vanish. We will trade our freedom for safety. We will allow our rights to be eroded, because the authorities tell us it will keep our children safer. Now remember, these are only predictions, not prophecy. Maybe someday, a future man will look back on them. Good day.

This Is What Life Is Like Inside Assad's Syria | VICE on HBO

23:43
Six years of civil war has left most of Syria, a country once known for its ancient cities, in ruins. On the battlefield, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad’s forces continue to fight a loose, and increasingly diminished collection of anti-government rebels. While in the country’s east, coalition forces have crippled a once fearsome ISIS, driving the group from its strongholds. War continues to rattle much of the country, and peace remains a notion far off in the distance, but one thing has come into focus with each passing day: Assad isn’t going anywhere. To see what life is like under Assad’s rule, VICE New sent Isobel Yeung to Syria just as the final bombs were falling over Aleppo. 14 Proofs Our World Has Changed Dramatically

07:37
Do you remember the days when phones were attached to the wall or when kids used to play together out in the yard? I know, shocking! Welcome to the future, where technological advancement is so great that…perhaps we’ve become dependent on it? Whether technology is a friend or foe, it’s certainly changed our lives dramatically, and we’ve got 14 examples of “Then vs Now” to prove just that! TIMESTAMPS: The evolution of people and their computers 1:07 Breakups 1:53 Marriage 2:24 Withdrawing cash 2:49 Movie theaters 3:22 Corporal punishment in schools 3:51 Population 4:15 Housing 4:42 Socializing with friends 5:04 How kids play 5:21 Phone calls 5:47 Entertainment 6:06 Work 6:24 Family structure 6:41 #modernworld #kidstoday #thennow Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - In 1996 Americans with Internet access spent less than 30 minutes a month surfing the web. Yet these days, people spend about 15 hours or more a week in front of their computers, TVs, and smartphones. - The new generation is too practical to cry over lost things and people. They’re explorers and adventure seekers. - Partners still share a bed, but a different kind of distance has grown between them. The biggest hindrance between couples these days is the increased use of technology. - Who knew that just a few decades later, we’d be getting our money out just like you would a cold soda from a vending machine. - Over 100 countries have already banned the use of corporal punishment on children in schools. And if a teacher decides to break the law and put their hands on a student, news travels fast thanks to social media and that teacher will face the consequences! - Worldometers puts the current global population at more than 7.6 billion and growing. - On an overpopulated planet with a housing situation the way it is, cities don’t have the space and people don’t have the money for large homes. - There was a time when kids would get together and go out to play. Outdoor activity was a great source of physical exercise and helped strengthen their social bonds. - There used to be these ancient things called picnics, house parties, and backyard social gatherings. - Huge piles of paperwork and long nights at the office have now been replaced by an array of work-from-home options. Travel English: How to go through customs at the airport

08:22
Do the customs officers at the airport in the U.S. make you nervous? Me too. But there is no need to be. Just be prepared and calm, and use the tips in this lesson to make your experience much smoother and less stressful. Learn the words and phrases they will use when they ask you questions, and learn how to answer. If you answer incorrectly, you may be shot. Don't forget to practice with the quiz before you fly! http://www.engvid.com/travel-english-airport-customs/ TRANSCRIPT Hi. I'm Adam. Welcome back to www.engvid.com. Today's lesson is a little bit specialized. We're going to talk about going through customs at a U.S. airport, more specifically, at an airport. Now, before I begin, why am I doing this lesson? Not too long ago, I flew... I had to go out of town and I had to fly through the States. I flew through Detroit, it's a big hub. In case you're ever flying through a hub, a hub is a central area where many flights come and connect to other flights. And I was in line at the customs, and ahead of me was a couple, they were tourists, I think. And I could see the panic on their faces when the custom guy... Customs guy started speaking to them and asking them questions, and they were so nervous, and they could barely speak. And the more nervous they became, the more questions they got from the customs guy. So, I want to make going through customs as easy as possible for you by giving you a few tips. First thing you have to remember when you come to the customs guys: have all your forms completed properly. So, if you're coming into a States, you're going to be given a form, I think it's an I-94 form with all kinds of questions. Fill out everything correctly, properly. If you're not sure what something means, ask a flight attendant to help you, they will. Fill everything before you get to customs. Have all your documents; your passport, your return flight ticket. If you're going as a student, have your Visa. If you're going there to work, have your Visa, your work permit, whatever you need. All documents ready, all forms complete, ready to go. Then the most important thing that you can do when going through customs at an U.S. airport is relax. Okay? Very important to relax. Now, one thing you will notice about American customs officers, they never ever smile. They will never smile. They are always going to look mean, and tough, and questions, questions, questions. That's their job. They're nice people. Don't think anything badly of them. They're doing their job, they want to scare you so that you give them the information that they need. So, relax. Answer all their questions quickly and as short as possible. If they ask you a yes/no question, answer yes or no. Almost... In most cases, in 99% of the questions, don't say: "I don't know." You do know. You know everything that they're going to ask you. Yes, no, there, there, this long, that person, done. Okay. So, they can ask you any number of questions, but here are a few of the more common questions that they might ask you. Okay? So, be prepared, answer them quickly, go on your way, enjoy your vacation in the U.S. What is your final destination? It means: where are you going? Where is your last stop? So, if you're flying in to New York and then you're catching another flight to Kentucky, your final destination is Kentucky, not New York. So, you're going to Kentucky. If you're going to another country, so for example I was coming back to Canada. What is your final destination? Toronto. I was just flying through the U.S. How long will you be staying in the U.S.? Again, never say: "I don't know." You do know. You have a return ticket out. If you have an open ticket, say you have... "I have a one-year open ticket. I'm not sure when I'm going to go back, but within one year." Have that ticket ready to show him or her. Okay? How long will you be staying? Two days, a week, two weeks, whatever. What is the purpose of your visit? Why are you here? To visit family, work or business, tourism, vacation, or transit. Okay? I was there, just transit. Transiting. I was just catching a flight to my next place, which is Canada. I was just here to transit. No problem. Where will you be staying? Now, this is a very important question. If you are staying in the U.S., make sure you have your hotel address ready to tell the customs officer. If you're staying with a friend, have your friend's address ready to tell the customs officer. If you're staying in a dorm, if you're a student, say the name of the school, the dorm, have the address ready. Never say: "I don't know. I haven't figured it out yet." They want to know where to find you if they need to find you. Okay? Make sure you have an actual place to stay.

SHAZAM! - Official Teaser Trailer [HD]

02:54
http://ShazamMovie.com https://www.facebook.com/ShazamMovie/ https://twitter.com/ShazamMovie/ https://www.instagram.com/ShazamMovie/ ---- David F. Sandberg (“Annabelle: Creation”) directs New Line Cinema’s “Shazam!,” the origin story that stars Zachary Levi (TV’s “Chuck”) as the titular DC Super Hero, along with Asher Angel (TV’s “Andi Mack”) as Billy Batson, and Mark Strong (the “Kingsman” movies) in the role of Super-Villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Peter Safran (“Aquaman,” “The Conjuring” and “Annabelle” films) serves as the film’s producer. We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong). “Shazam!” also stars Jack Dylan Grazer (“IT”) as Billy’s best friend and ultimate superhero enthusiast, Freddy, part of the foster family that includes Mary, played by Grace Fulton (“Annabelle: Creation”); Darla, played by Faithe Herman (TV’s “This is Us”); Eugene, played by Ian Chen (TV’s “Fresh Off the Boat”); and Pedro, played by Jovan Armand (TV’s “Hawaii Five-O”). Cooper Andrews (TV’s “The Walking Dead”) and Marta Milans (TV’s “Killer Women”) play foster parents Victor and Rosa Vasquez, with Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (“Blood Diamond”) as the Wizard. Firmly set in the DC universe but with his own distinctly fun, family-centric tone, the screenplay is by Henry Gayden, story by Gayden and Darren Lemke. Shazam was created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck. Christopher Godsick, Jeffrey Chernov, Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia serve as executive producers. Sandberg’s creative team includes his “Annabelle: Creation” director of photography Maxime Alexandre, production designer Jennifer Spence, editor Michel Aller and costume designer Leah Butler. A New Line Cinema production, “Shazam!” is set for release on April 5, 2019. It will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

You can go to most major electronics store and they should carry it. There are a few options, but I’ll cover the 2 basic types that I think is the best for travelers. (1) SIM card with a daily data transfer limits 220mb per day. You can get it for 7 days or 15 days. (2) SIM cards with a total data transfer limit of 1.5 Gb or 3GB that work for 30 day period. It doesn’t have a daily transfer limit which I personally prefer. And if I use up all the data in only a few days, you can just buy a new card. Bad news travels fast

04:43
Many love songs are – indeed - about love and warm relations. Unfortunately, a lot of these end up in separation and divorce. As a contrast to all the sweet love songs that have ever been written, I composed a song about a love affair with a sad ending. The lyric was written by Ine Huizenga and Theo Thomassen (myself). Both are members of the Dutch jazz-rock band Colney Hatch. Ine plays Alto and Tenor Saxophone and I am the lead guitarist. Colney Hatch was founded in 1972 and had gigs for about three years. After this period, the band members had to complete their education, developed their careers and founded families. The members of the band never formally quit the band and they decided to continue playing in 2010. After having started their “second band life” with a reunion concert - which was totally sold out - the band gave many concerts and also did some interesting projects such as the audio/video/LP recording named “Colney Hatch Live at Grenswerk”. You may find some nice video clips on YouTube, search for “Colney Hatch”. Lyric: After all these years I finally have to admit That this ain’t gonna work, it’s better that we split How often I have tried to get behind your iron curtain But I did not succeed and found that love was such a burden The harder I’d knock on your window, the more of its glass I would break My days of despair and sorrow, you called them just a mistake Bad news, baby, the bad news, hm Bad news, baby, the bad news, travels fast Bad news, baby, the sad news, travels fast (Tenor Sax – solo) Bad news, baby, the bad news, hm Bad news, baby, the bad news, travels fast Bad news, baby, the sad news, travels fast When you let me down, I prayed for your affection At times when we were close, I only felt rejection The words that we had spoken, about the hearts that we had broken They didn’t help to keep our bond to be unbroken The only thing that remains now, is a memory of the past Of our love, so sweet and tender, I regret it did not last Bad news, baby, the bad news, hm Bad news, baby, the bad news, travels fast Bad news, baby, the sad news, travels fast Sheet music made with MuseScore - https://musescore.com/user/57549/scores/1280731

★ How to Get to Mars. Very Cool! HD

"How To get to Mars" is a clip from the IMAX documentary "Roving Mars" from 2006. This is an edited short version. My photos: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/105656643463219506384/+aheli DVD - Roving Mars 2006 : Spirit, Opportunity, and the Exploration of the Red Planet @ amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Roving-Mars-Spirit-Opportunity-Exploration/dp/B003XU7W0A ★ The Largest Stars in the Universe | Infographic Animation ► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqAJnrL27OY ★ The Most Astounding Fact - Neil deGrasse Tyson | Kinetic ►Typography https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2DXqJ7mjKY ★ TOP 10 - Best of Hubble Space Telescope - 2015 ► http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmx19_0GX8o Game Of Thrones - Theme (OneCamBand Western Cover) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rln_qHoWIqg From Wiki : Spirit, MER-A (Mars Exploration Rover -- A), is a robotic rover on Mars, active from 2004 to 2010. It was one of two rovers of NASA's ongoing Mars Exploration Rover Mission. It landed successfully on Mars at 04:35 Ground UTC on January 4, 2004, three weeks before its twin, Opportunity (MER-B), landed on the other side of the planet. Its name was chosen through a NASA-sponsored student essay competition. The rover became stuck in late 2009, and its last communication with Earth was sent on March 22, 2010. The rover completed its planned 90-sol mission. Aided by cleaning events that resulted in higher power from its solar panels, Spirit went on to function effectively over twenty times longer than NASA planners expected following mission completion. Spirit also logged 7.73 km (4.8 mi) of driving instead of the planned 600 m (0.4 mi), allowing more extensive geological analysis of Martian rocks and planetary surface features. Initial scientific results from the first phase of the mission (the 90-sol prime mission) were published in a special issue of the journal Science. On May 1, 2009 (5 years, 3 months, 27 Earth days after landing; 21.6 times the planned mission duration), Spirit became stuck in soft soil. This was not the first of the mission's "embedding events" and for the following eight months NASA carefully analyzed the situation, running Earth-based theoretical and practical simulations, and finally programming the rover to make extrication drives in an attempt to free itself. These efforts continued until January 26, 2010 when NASA officials announced that the rover was likely irrecoverably obstructed by its location in soft soil, though it continued to perform scientific research from its current location. The rover continued in a stationary science platform role until communication with Spirit stopped on sol 2210 (March 22, 2010). JPL continued to attempt to regain contact until May 24, 2011, when NASA announced that efforts to communicate with the unresponsive rover had ended. A formal farewell was planned at NASA headquarters after the Memorial Day holiday and was televised on NASA TV. Hope you enjoyed it!

My Daily Life in the SLUMS OF MUMBAI (Life-Changing 5 Days)

16:50
Learn how I started traveling full-time at 19: http://bit.ly/TravelingAt19 Catch me and meet me during my travels: http://bit.ly/MeetWithJacob Free $34 AirBnb credit for your next trip: http://bit.ly/AirBnb34Coupon Two and a half years ago, during my first visit in India, I spent 2 days walking all around the slums of Mumbai. Even though I got to learn quite a bit about the life in the slums, I didn’t have the chance to live inside the slums and because of that I left with more questions than answers. So now that I came back to India for the second time, I decided to go back to Mumbai and spend five days living in Dharavi, which is one of the largest slums in the world. This experience opened my eyes in ways I couldn’t have imagined, because I got to spend so much time with the local people, who completely transformed my outlook on what their lives were like. You see, as most outsiders, I had a very distorted view of the people of the slums. We grow up hearing stories about them dying on the streets, no one being able to read and write, kids having to sleep surrounded by flesh-eating rats and so on. There are, of course, tons of problems that need to be addressed, especially when it comes to sanitation. For example, sources say that in Dharavi there is an average of 1 toilet for a thousand people. Also, livestock generally lives in the same quarters with people and that, combined with the fact that the local water sources lack cleaning facilities, sometimes causes the spread of contagious diseases. However, people there are just like everywhere else. They have their own dreams, goals, careers, thoughts and emotions. They are in no way different from the rest of us. It doesn’t matter where we come from. We are all equal. Some of us are born with golden spoons in our mouths, others are not. But that doesn’t define us. What defines us is our pursuit of happiness, our compassion for others and our ability to adapt to whatever circumstances we’re in and make the best of them. Subscribe! Many people to this day do not believe that one can travel through time, but the physicists seem to not agree with them. Even Albert Einstein claimed that people can take a trip through time. He recognized time travel as an idea that could be applied to his theory of relativity. The majority of such things have yet to be explained scientifically. However, there are still some phenomena that are hard to believe. We in Smart is the New Sexy believe that our adventure through time has taken the most serious turn. Singhik View Point, Mangan You will get to see beautiful scenic view from this point. We went there in Monsoon weather we could not see the Mt. Kanchenjunga, otherwise from this point, Mount kanchenjunga can be seen clearly. We did this journey through a local travel agency, its name is Tamu travels… Lalit is the owner: Tamu Tour and travels Development area, Gangtok east Sikkim. http://www.tamutourandtreks.com/ 9832564013 9002069916. This journey from Gangtok to North Sikkim then west and south Sikkim for us was about 7 nights and 8 days.. It costed us Rs 35k… 35k is only for taxi for 8 days. Other costs are extra. This 8 day journey is for North, south and west Sikkim. We paid Rs 2500 for taxi per day in Gangtok, that was for 8 hours.. they charge extra if you hire beyond 8 hours.. we virtually ended up paying about Rs 3300 to 3500 per day for local sight seeing bcoz we had taxi with full for full day early morning to late evening. This complete complete journey from Gangtok to Lachen in North sikkim took us about 13 hours…. Reason it took time was bcoz we stopped for food, shoot took time plus every 30 minutes we took break to see and enjoy the beauty… If you want to plan this journey, i will suggest you to get your bookings done properly because it involves permit. We did this journey during last week of June 2018, which is an off season time… Important note for this journey: Avoid rainy season. Travel in either feb or March or in oct and nov to enjoy sikkim the most. Check with your travel agent on the fact whether can travel to North sikkim or not because some of the routes are closed because of snow. Cost for minimum low cost travel two and a half days in Gangtok will be about Rs 11000 - details in description of previous episodes of Gangtok: Taxi cost for travel to North or other regions of Sikkim: Rs 3500 per day, for certain cost moment you are 2 people cost goes high. for example i have put 400 fare from siliguri to Gangtok for one person so you have to adjust if you are two. Food Rs 1500 hotel: Rs 2000 For every day that you travel in Sikkim minimum cost will be Rs 7000. North sikkim i don't think you can travel by bus, i am not sure, suggest check with some one else...but yes you can travel to other districts of sikkim by bus, check details with tourism office in MG marg Gangtok for details. MG marg is the place which is heart of Gangtok, try taking a hotel near MG marg. Sikkim is over all expensive, so be sure on costs bcoz your budgets can over shoot, especially if you are going in peak season. Cost that you are see are of off season, during season every thing is atleast 30 percent higher on cost... If you have any experience of sikkim travel, do share that in comments below. I would look forward to hear back from you in this regard. Thanks Harish bali

Prepping and Technology

01:01:45
When you think about how prepping has changed in the last 20 years, you can’t help but think about how it’s going to change in the next 20. Prepping and technology can be both a blessing and a curse. This week the 3 of us talked about how technology has become something straight out of a science fiction movie. At first glance this seems a little far fetched, but as they say “art imitates life.” Drones: We started the show off talking about this video going around about micro drones that can explode on impact. If enough of these assignation drones were used together, a rouge country could take out a large group of high value targets. Genetic Modification: With the advancements is science it’s not possible to create a “super human.” We may have law here to limit this, but that doesn’t mean Russia and China aren’t limited. The NSA: Back 5 or 10 years ago people were up in arms about privacy invasion, these days it seems that we just accept it. The scary thing about this is that they are only getting better at it. The Face of War: In a podcast we did a little while back we talked about the future of prepping, and what warfare will look like. The days of sending humans to the front lines are going away, and could soon be drones and robots. The EMP Threat: With the advancements in technology and everything being computerized, it seems that advancing EMP technology is the obvious next step. Propaganda and Social Media: With the internet, social media, and the 24 hour news cycle news travels faster than ever. While this can benefit us as preppers, it’s also very dangerous. It’s easier than ever these days to program us what to think. ABOUT THE PREPAREDNESS EXPERIENCE The Preparedness Experience is more than just a prepper website, we work to share knowledge with you all year long about prepping and then once a year we gather for our conference. At the event we bring prepping experts together and focus on getting you prepared with a heavy focus on training and education, not endless rows of vendor booths. We like to cover topics what you should carry every day (EDC), considerations for your bug out bag, or what happens in a disaster or when the SHTF. It could be a natural disaster, civil unrest, financial collapse or some other apocalyptic event. We talk about gear such as fixed blade knives, emergency rations, HAM radios, and paracord. We cover topics such as food storage, fire starting, water filtering, and self-defense. Whatever you’re interested in, we probably talk about it if it has to do with getting prepared as preppers, prepping, and other survival topics. News from around the world is full of worry these days, and taking that worry to heart is only human. But concerns about the future can often be eased by lessons from the past, gathered from paintings of centuries ago, which depict a time when, it's said....there was peace on Earth.

Pakistan Meat Paradise - NALLI NIHARI + TIKKA in Gujranwala | Pakistani Street Food Tour!

20:57
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Huge thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH On Day 3 in Pakistan we drove from Lahore to Gujranwala, known for being a city of meat lovers! But before leaving Lahore, we stopped to eat what is one of the most beloved of all dishes in Pakistan: nihari. Waris Nihari (Read the blog post: https://migrationology.com/nihari-lahore/) - There are a number of famous places to eat nihari when you’re in Lahore, but we tried Waris Nihari, tucked deep within a narrow alley. Nihari is a meat stew, and when you order, he dishes you out some meat, some of the brown stew, and finishes it off with a some desi ghee. They heated up some more desi ghee and poured it on top to complete. The best thing about nihari is that you can season it yourself with chilies, ginger, and lime juice. It’s one of the kings of Pakistani food! Price - 500 PKR ($3.82) per dish Grand Trunk Road - Full from a serious meat breakfast, we continued driving towards Gujranwala taking the famous Grand Trunk Road, what is one of the oldest roads and trade routes in Central Asia. Pakora - After arriving in Gujranwala we stopped to eat some pakoras, a massive display of deep fried snacks. They were dangerously tasty. Camel kebabs - 140 PKR ($1.05) - In the market, while walking around we saw a man selling small camel kebab sliders and we immediately had to taste them. They were incredibly delicious, seasoned with plenty of coriander seeds. Pakistani wrestling with Inam Butt - Wrestling is an ancient sport in Pakistan and we were invited to watch a practice along with world champion wrestler Inam Butt. It was an honor to be there and a lot of fun. Khizar Tikka Shop - For dinner we had a chance to experience of the greatest Pakistani food displays, the gigantic grill at Khizar Tikka Shop in Gujranwala. Their grill and entire kitchen set-up is impressively giant, and their food is incredibly good. I especially enjoyed the small gola kebabs and the goat chops. Sweet paan - For dessert to went to a paan shop and had a sweet paan. Jalebi - And for second dessert we had a huge jalebi. Kulfi - 30 PKR ($0.22) - Finally, last stop of the day, we had a famous kulfi in Gujranwala. It was an amazing day of Pakistani food, lots and lots of meat, and exploring Gujranwala, Pakistan. Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market) and Saim who arranged and planned our day in Gujranwala. My Daily Life In NORTH KOREA (MYSTERIOUS 7 DAY TRIP)

UPDATE - one year after visiting North Korea I traveled to South Korea and made a video comparing my experiences in both of these two countries. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJUSIWSaQX4 Learn how I started traveling full-time at 19: http://bit.ly/TravelingAt19 Catch me and meet me during my travels: http://bit.ly/MeetWithJacob Free $34 AirBnb credit for your next trip: http://bit.ly/AirBnb34Coupon I've always been very interested in North Korea because it seemed to be one of the most unique and mysterious countries in the whole world. This is my day to day life throughout the 7 days that I spent in North Korea. You can never be sure whether things were staged or not in North Korea because you are only shown what they want you to see. You can't choose where or when you will be going to specific places, they simply tell you to hop on a bus and ask you to get off at one point or another. That is why I didn't want to offer my opinion about whether things were staged or not, whether they were good or not, or honest or not. My goal was to show you what my day to day life looked like when I was there and let you make up your own mind and judge for yourself. Do not judge North Korea only from what you see in this video. This is what they showed us and there's a reason they show some things and not show the others. Also, knowing how much control they exercise over the population, everything could have been staged only for us. My favorite books about North Korea: Dear Leader by Jang Jin Sung - http://amzn.to/2vEkrrE; Escape From Camp 14 by Blaine Harden - http://amzn.to/2vEz6U1; Nothing To Envy by Barbara Demick - http://amzn.to/2vzieiI; 1984 by George Orwell (I couldn't believe how similar some things in North Korea looked to the ones in the book) - http://amzn.to/2vE92s8. These include being immune from prosecution from any crime she may happen to commit (justice is served in her name); she cannot be compelled to give evidence in court; she owns all of the dolphins, sturgeons and whales found in British waters (she also technically owns all mute swans found on open waters in Britain); she has the ability to declare war on any other nation if she so desires it; and, most pertinent to the present conversation, she doesn’t need a passport to travel abroad. 23 Things To Do In Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Vietnam

18:26
►Read 23 Things to do in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam: http://migrationology.com/2015/06/things-to-do-in-saigon-ho-chi-minh-city/ ►FREE eBook: http://migrationology.com/saigon-ebook/ When I was in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), along with eating as much Vietnamese food as I could, one of my goals was to film a travel video about some of the best things to do in Saigon. After putting together a complete list, it turned out to be 23, and I hope this list of attractions will help and inspire you to visit Vietnam’s largest and most exciting city. 1. Binh Tay Market - Binh Tay Market is one of the largest wholesale distribution markets, and a perfect place to go if you’re looking to go shopping in Ho Chi Minh City. 2. Thien Hau Temple (Pagoda) - Located in Chinatown, in District 5, the temple is dedicated to Thien Hau and I really loved the sculptures and the elaborate design of the temple. 3. Museum of Ho Chi Minh City - This museum offers a glimpse into the history and development of the city and Vietnam. 4. Bitexco Financial Tower - This is the tallest building in Saigon, and you can either go to the Skydeck or a cafe at the top for a view of the city. 5. Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) - Probably one of the most well known tourism things to do in Saigon is to visit the Independence Palace, the the former home of the president of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. 6. Saigon Cathedral of Notre Dame - With the French influence in Vietnam, the Notre Dame cathedral is a beautiful Catholic church. Attend a service or just visit. 7. Central Post Office - Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Central Post Office in Ho Chi Minh City is an attraction mainly for its design and architecture. It’s a beautiful building. 8. War Remnants Museum - Although this is not one of the happiest attractions in Saigon, it’s a place to remember and honor the horrible events that are a result of a war. 9. Opera House - Right in Dong Khoi area, and there are still opera shows available. 10. Dong Khoi Street - This is the height of high end shopping in Saigon. 11. Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens - The zoo itself is not too great, but the beauty of the Saigon zoo is the botanical gardens, and the lush gardens, and taking a break from the city. 12. FITO Museum (Museum of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine) - I was quite impressed by the Vietnamese medicine private museum - very interactive and educational. 13. San Art Laboratory – If you love modern art, the San Art Laboratory is a great place to see and visit in Saigon. 14. Turtle Lake at Night - If you’re looking for some things to do at night in Saigon, head to Turtle Lake to chill out, relax, hang out with friends, and eat snacks. 15. Ben Thanh Market - One of the most famous things to do in Saigon District 1 is visit the Ben Thanh Market, one of the major central landmarks of the city. 16. Phu My Hung and Starlight Bridge - Located outside of central Ho Chi Minh City, Phu My Hung is a modern development, and a great place to walk around. 17. Water Puppet Show - Though originally from the north of Vietnam, water puppet shows are popular also in Saigon. I went to the Golden Dragon Water Puppet theater. 18. Museum of Vietnamese History - Probably one of the most extensive and important museum showing the history of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City. 19. Rooftop Bar - Seeing Saigon from above offers a great perspective. 20. Fine Arts Museum - This was my favorite of all the museums in Saigon. The museum is housed in a well preserved building, and the art is amazing - located right in District 1 across the roundabout from Ben Thanh Market. 21. Jade Emperor Pagoda - Dedicated to the Jade Emperor, the pagoda has a real ancient feel to it, and it’s worth seeing when you visit. 22. Local Wet Market - One of my favorite things to do is visit a local fresh wet market, which you’ll find all over the city. The ingredients, food, and culture, all stand out at fresh markets. 23. Vietnamese Street Food - By my ultimate favorite activity in Saigon is eating street food, and there are an abundance of delicious Vietnamese street foods to sample. Thank you for watching this video about the top 23 things to do in Saigon, Vietnam. I hope it has given you some great ideas to help you plan your visit. ********************************************************************* Music in this video is from Audio Network Filmed and created by Mark Wiens and Ying Wiens: http://migrationology.com/blog & http://www.eatingthaifood.com/ & http://www.travelbyying.com/ Make a donation: https://www.patreon.com/markwiens Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/migrationology Instagram: https://instagram.com/migrationology Twitter: https://twitter.com/migrationology SNAPCHAT: migrationology ►Get your FREE Saigon eBook: http://migrationology.com/saigon-ebook/

Could SpaceX's BFR replace traditional airliners?

09:30
With SpaceX announcing the BFR's first official mission to the moon, the possibility of Earth to Earth travel seems a little bit closer. In this video, we look at what needs to be done before Earth to Earth rocket travel can replace the traditional airliners that we use today. We also compare the dawn of passenger rocket travel to the early days of airplanes. Thanks for watching this Primal Space video. Peru Gold | Real destruction of illegal gold mines on Amazon rainforest revealed | Sunday Night

16:16
There’s a vast stretch of the Amazon the Peruvians call Madre de Dios - Mother of God - but tragically these days, it looks more like something concocted by the devil. Once-pristine jungle has been stripped by illegal miners, leaving a desolate lunar landscape. It’s so lucrative, even drug lords are in on the act, switching from cocaine to gold - which makes this part of the world a very dangerous place indeed. Denham Hitchcock travels deep into the Amazon with Miss Peru to investigate a crime which could have a devastating effect on all of us. Here’s Denham Hitchcock. Delete bad blog and articles from Internet

00:13
Delete bad articles and blog from Internet With the advancement of the digital world, much of our sensitive data and information are publicly available to every person on the internet. In this digital age, whatever goes online remains online, probably forever. That would do no harm if you are looking up for some historic events but if the information is some negative or controversial content, then it can cost you your reputation and livelihood. Surprisingly, this bad news won’t stay limited to the source of publication. ‘Bad news travels fast’, especially on the internet. With the increasing use of social media, blogging, tweeting and re-posting have become common modes of sharing of information. If the people around the internet find your news interesting enough, it can soon become ‘trending’ and can become the topic of discussion in every household. Now, the question arises: How do we get such information removed from the internet? Negative news removal can be a very complex and frustrating process, especially these days when the websites are so protective of their content and the writers.
