one question, how did people get pictures and build things 831 ft below into the ocean? did they use some kind of technology so they won't get hurt or something?
We want to use this video for a college course in Marine Biology at Santa Rosa Junior College. Would you please grant us permission to caption the video so it has punctuation and clear sentences? If you turn on Community Contributions in YouTube, we could add the better captions to these videos. Alternatively, we can send you a corrected caption file that you can upload in YouTube. One more option is to use a site such as Amara.org that will embed the video and give us an interface to overlay the video with the better caption file. All of these options leave the control in your hands. If you take down the video, it will no longer appear in the course, we will just be embedding from YouTube, not downloading the video.

This was very poorly put together. If the objective was to show people "just how deep the ocean goes", it was a complete failure. Use an image as an overall comparison rather then a slider that looks the same from start to finish.

How deep is your love....? Is it like the ocean? What devotion? Are you? How deep is your love? Is it like nirvana? Hit me harder, again How deep is your love? How deep is your love? How deep is your love? Is it like the ocean? Pull me closer, again How deep is your love? How deep is your love?

"The oceans have enough water to fill a bathtub that is 685 miles long, on each side." What do this mean? Which sides? Left and right? The video shows arrows going longitudinal and transverse, which doesn't help at all to visualize how the tub is stretched. 685 miles wide and 685 miles long but the depth of a bathtub? That is not correct. The oceans are thousands of miles across and much deeper than a bathtub. So perhaps the intention is to say "enough water to fill a cube with edges that are 685 miles long", so 685^3 = 321419125 cubic miles of water? And this is correct, see https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/oceanwater.html Perhaps it would have clearer to avoid the word bathtub. It's strange to make the jump from a bathtub to a cube.

Wait what, the oceans fit in a tiny bathtub of 685 miles long and 685 miles wide? That would mean the ocean is 1 feet deep and 685 miles by 685 miles? Yeeeeeahh okay....
