Hey Sang! We focus on Private Label but may be offering more official training on dropshipping in the future. We believe Private Label is far more important because you have control over the entire process as you are the manufacturer and brand of your own product and you own the entire process which means the value of your company is massively greater.

now, its getting tricky my side...i am a new user to alibaba, i deal in shoes, and out of the many suppliers i managed to get one fit for my pocket, for 100 pairs, @ 5.1 each...it got more tricky when the shiipping cost for the goods china to uganda is more than the products themselves.but still i will be making a profit ..an now worried, the supplier and the shipping agent am using are different. hope my full salary is not gonna get scammed..i will make a video of how it all goes.
thanks seth for the info

Hey Seth is e-checking through Alibaba Trade Assurance better than a MasterCard ?
Because when I look at my options to make payment through Trade Assurance MasterCard charges a fee but e-checking doesn't!
Which do you recommend?
Personally I found many buyers on Alibaba has no experience at all, who does not understand what is "MOQ" or trade terms like" EXW" or "FOB", this lack of experience and knowledge could trouble both sides and may ended up a unpleasant business experience. The seller has no obligation to "teach" you, if you are that lazy that you don't even want to bother with some necessary study, then you are not serious in what you are doing, you are just playing and wasting everybody's valuable time, so pay attention to the video! You will learnt.
Hey Kimbab! I make videos like this because I love coaching. Not everyone chooses their path based on income alone. There is more to life than how much money one makes.
If I was looking for passive income alone, I never would have started coaching others. Amazon is far more passive income for me and takes far less time once a product is launched and all I have to do is make sure the listing is optimized and stay apprised to the ever-changing competition.
A wise man once told me: if you can find something that you love, that your customers love, and that makes you money while doing it, you have found the sweet spot.
1. My dream with Amazon was to have margin to do what I love with the people I love. Amazon does exactly this for me: it gives me margin to not just sell on Amazon but coach others how to do it, and watch them become wealthy and in turn they have margin to do the things they love with the people they love.
2. I am building an army of entrepreneurs in 90+ countries who invest, network, teach, learn, grow, make money, and give back. The opportunities this has created for me and the Just One Dime community are massive.
I don't want to just be an Amazon seller and coach. I want to impact the world. My goal is far bigger than selling on Amazon and showing people how to do it. My dream is to build people. To raise up a vast army of entrepreneurs who can help each other, grow rich, and impact the world in a way that is meaningful and lasting.
I haven't heard too much about this so can't really comment. This just highlights that it's so important to find suppliers that you actually trust. Build that relationship with them on and off Alibaba before diving in and placing a big order. 😀
last night i have seen your 3 videos. and i sent sample to china today. about ali baba. i really hope i don’t loss my money.
i really don’t trust any one. my wife said many times, can i order this from ali baba every time my answer is NO. after seen your video i trust.
let’s see what i get. i have small business. that’s why i don’t trust online. if i lost. i don’t have anything to do more. then i will sleep at road.
I always use Trade Assurance when it comes to paying suppliers. Even if have been working with them for years, it's away of protecting myself. To answer your previous question, yes suppliers will normally ask for a 30% upfront payment and then you pay them the remaining 70% once the goods are manufactured.
Hello.can u help me,please?where i can find this page where u showing what supplier information is verified.i see of my supplier everything golden years, they are have onsite check, but this verified imformation i cant find.thank u
Hi, I'm very new into this. You mentioned in your video that they can hold my money in an Escrow or Trade Assurance account until I tell them that I received the product. My question if they ship it to Amazon on behalf of me, in that case Amazon is the one telling me that how many products it received? Thank you.
Thank you. I should get the shipping to me from the suppliers for 1st few times, then send it to the Amazon. Is this reliable to get UPC codes from Ebay? Do you have any videos on UPC code? Thanks again.
I'm interested in starting an Amazon brand and I've already saved $3000 to start there is just one major question I need answered to begin. How do I know the factories where my products are coming from aren't supporters on slave labor? How do I know the people who work in these factories aren't being paid a shamefully low compensation. I understand that things are going to mostly be cheaper if you buy overseas, but if it's cheaper because the people who work for these manufacturers aren't being properly paid I can't support this. Getting millions of dollars in return for being an intricate part of modern day slavery isn't what I hope Amazon FBA is about. Please give my an honest answer.
Thank you for your time!
Seth, alibaba trade assurance doesn’t charge 5% as a process fee, it’s a free service for buyers and only transaction fees is charged by a bank depending on mode of payment (for e.g.:2-3% for credit cards and 15 usd for echecking )...what say ???? I am right or wrong .
Please make it confirm and help me out.
As for the math, if the fee is 5% for trade assurance and 40 bucks for bank transfer, then an order under 800 dollars would be better getting with trade assurance. Anything above, once the trust is built, wire transfer.
edit: since it is 2 wire transfers (initial 30% and 70% upon completion) the total would be ~80 dollars. That means that orders over 1600 is better to do via T/T. Below 1,600 trade assurance would probably be cheaper.
I hope someone can answer my question because I cannot seem to find the answer. I'm in the process of finding and vetting a supplier. I directly contacted some suppliers on Alibaba as well as put out an RFQ. I have been going back-and-forth with one supplier and then received a response to my RFQ from another sales rep but they are both from the same company supposedly. I do not want to offend the first supplier if they are legitimate, so can I answer the RFQ from the second sales rep without worrying about the first? I guess my thought is I do not know if they are both truly with the same company or if there something I can check to see if one of them is more legitimate than the other or could offer me a better price.
Currently about to contact and write to supplier. Should I make my listing on Amazon first? As I'm new to FBA and hoping I don't get hazmat or a need to go through a process to get approval before asking supplier to manufacture them.
