High Society is a new VICE documentary series about drugs in the UK.
British people statistically take more MDMA in one session than any other country on the planet. And not just a little bit more: on average, Brits take 420 milligrams per session. To put that in perspective, Germans, the same people who invented minimal techno and nightclubs that stay open for 60 hours – take only 200 milligrams.
It’s still one of the safest drugs to take, but last year, ecstasy-related deaths reached their highest level in a decade, and now it’s back in the headlines. Some people say it’s drug dealers’ responsibility for selling pills that are dangerously strong and cut with adulterants. Other people point to the government, who have failed to reduce the supply of ecstasy and are refusing to embrace harm reduction strategies that have worked in Europe.
In this episode of High Society, we find out what’s making ecstasy so dangerous again, and how that danger can be reduced.

I don’t take drugs, because I am a pussy and They just don’t interest me at all. However, not everyone is like me and do have an interest in drugs. This is why it should be legalised and controlled rather than making videos trying to scare people into not taking any drugs, because that’s obviously not working for everyone.
Whats making ecstasy dangerous? The fact that its illegal and we have to buy from street dealers that could cut it with deadly drugs.
The government should just fuckin sell MDMA but i know that will never happen...
Everything can kill you if you take it once. it's the dose that matters and I know that the woman has lost her son because of an overdose, but the statement ' They need to be aware of this bad stuff that can kill you by taking it once' can be applied to everything. Again it's the dose that matters.
"We don't want you to take these pills because they're not regulated and could kill you if you don't know what's in them. So we won't legalize and regulate them and also ruin your life if you are caught with it. But alcohol is OK, cause that's not dangerous at all. "
Yeah fuck off
4:10 mark "it is controlled because it is deadly" stupid bitch. Yet anyone can go to the local market and all the cartons of fucking cigarettes that you can afford.
Here in Murrikkka over 480,000 people die from cigarette consumption.
Can anyone see the stupidity of this shit?
Ecstasy is NOT harmful in moderation. Statistically speaking if equal amount of people drank ethanol and took MDMA, alcohol would cause more deaths than molly. Always test your substance and do drugs safely kids
