Sounds so REAL you'll want to put on sunscreen and have a beach towel nearby in case you get wet!
This REAL continuous 3 hour video was filmed at Marine Street Beach near the community of La Jolla, California.

Why 3 hours? Tranquil nature soundscapes are excellent for relaxing, meditation, insomnia, studying, tinnitus sufferers, white noise, or just play the background scenery on your big screen TV when you are not watching shows. The genre is called "slow television" or "slow TV".

This is a 3 hour non repeating, non- looped relaxing video of actual Pacific Ocean waves crashing against a beach. At the beginning of the video the sun rises behind the camera to light up the waves and shore birds. At 31:34 shore birds arrive.
High Tide was at 9:20am (about half way through the video). Filmed from 8am to 11am. Marine Street Beach near the community of La Jolla, California is legendary to body surfers and body boarders because of its thunderous waves, which crash right at shoreline. However, this beach may not be ideal for families, as the rough surf is not well suited to children. The rough waves at this beach have been known to cause serious injury to swimmers and body boarders.
Some play this video to relax or for insomnia to help them sleep. Nature sounds like these ocean waves, waterfalls, rain, thunder, and lightning help lullaby you into deep relaxation and sleep provide white noise for tinnitus sufferers and insomniacs

Thank you so much for this video. It's hard to find a non looping video of pure unfiltered nature doing what it does best unless you're in person. Again, thank you!!! Not sure how you were able to get 3 hours without interruptions but I'm glad you did. *Big hug* I'm going to sleep well tonight. 😴🌛
Remember as children coming to the beach, mesmerized by the sound of the waves and breathing ocean. How freeing it was and still is, washing away all our troubles for the day, coming away feeling so refreshed? I want to do that now by the side of this program, thank you for bringing us the pure and simple video of rolling waves at a beach all by itself.
I miss whomping in those wonderful shore breaks. Marine street is- well it was way back when, anyway- one of my favorite haunts. It's changed down there, in fact the whole city of SD isn't like it was- too many heads, too many rules (especially in the beach areas), too expensive, etc etc. This video brings back a lot of good memories just the same.
There's lots of "waves on a beach" videos out there, but this one is my favorite. Thanks for posting it.
Great!! Listened to / watched quite a few of these types, but this one is the only one that seems 'live' - the waves and water sound matches the video (keep on at work in small corner of screen). Others sound good but it's disconcerting b/c the recording is so obviously not from 'those' waves.
This comes closest to the sound of the ocean waves we get on the coast of Kodiak Island. The only thing that detracts from it for me is the people talking later in the video. Probably seems weird, but on my island home you could get to beaches where there was not another soul in sight for days, and so the sounds weren't interrupted by human speech or dogs or anything else. This is still one of the best ocean sounds tracks I've heard though, so thank you very much for uploading it. I'll just listen to the first hour more than the rest XD
I love beautiful California!🌎🇺🇸 The beautiful skies. The beautiful weather. The hot summer night at the beach with the beautiful bright moon.🌗The beautiful galaxy stream in Yosemite.🌌 Oh how I love you beautiful California.
Excellent mate - no cheesy loop, the real deal 3 hours of ocean, waders, the odd seagull and dog and a friendly bloke walking past. Furthermore if you watch it you're entertained by intermittent body surfers. I close my eyes and when you hear the big sets or something other than the regular wave pattern it's like being at the beach I'm compelled to look up and watch the footage. Great video.
A Guy walks by @ 15:48 n says: "Good Morning. You got the best seat in the house huh?"
To have made this a perfect video all yah had to do was to STOP the video camera right then n there and simply have rewound it a few seconds to cut the guy out edit him out. Yeah, it's just a few seconds and this is a free video. It's just annoying that he's distracting and is in this video when he did not have to be. He is , obviously acknowledging you sitting there with the camera and at that time you could have just backed it up rewound and cut him out. When I listen to this at bedtime i keep, keep forgetting to forward it to 15:50 after he walks by Not a big deal but it could have been altered right from the beginning. LOL so every night I' lying there and I here this strange guy telling me that "I" have the best seat in the house. SMH
